Can someone please explain what the difference is between these 2 services?

Is GPRS faster or something? When I connect to T-Zones (T-Mobile), how do I know my connection method & how do I know what the cost is to browse?

Thanks.

GPRS is faster than WAP as the data is sent/received in a different way. Also whereas WAP is charged by the time you're online (eg. 10p/min) GPRS is charged by the amount of data you transfer (eg. £1/Mb).

I'm not too sure which service T-mobile use (I'd assume its GPRS). I'd suggest contacting T-mobile and asking them.

I've got gprs & wap already enabled on the phone to work on t-mobile (already set up when bought phone) but just looking at my latest usage shows a wap call yesterday when I went on the bbc sport page, 70.110 is the size of the download although this was only 1 page with a picture?

I don't really understand? Would gprs have been cheaper? 43p to look at 1 page seems quite alot.

Do I get charged to go into t-zones without actually going into any pages?

I Cannot go online with GPRS on Orangeworld.

I can only get standard orange wap. That said, i cannot recieve emails either, despite setting up my phone via the sony ericcson webite. I get an envelope with the @ symbol on it while in screen saver mode. This seems to tell me have emails but i cannot access the service to download them.

The whole issue of internet browsing on mobiles is confusing. I have about 4/5 different options yet only one works.

Anyone out there know how to set up these accounts because i am frustrated by their uselessness. Orange website offers little help with these matters. Surely my K700i should have come already set up to recieve emails and GRPS access.
