Who Will Last Longer, JLS or Alexandra Burke?
Several years since their stint on XF, both acts appear to be on the downward slide. But which will be the first to drop off the musical radar completely? Alexandra Burke seems to always appear to be a hard worker who's given short shrift, but conversely also a bit of a diva. JLS on the other hand used to be touted as the next big thing in boybands, but has this crown passed wholly to One Direction? Discuss!

JLS probably. They're still around, pretty strong.

Hopefully Alexandra. Although JLS seem to work hard and seem like good guys.

Alexandra Burke...JLS have tried to be a big international band like 1D and The Wanted but failed. Alexandra has a lot more going for her, and yes her current material has not performed well, but watch this space.

How long is a piece of string? Who knows?
JLS's new single out next week so this could be make or break for them |

Hopefully they both disappear ASAP. It's all (and always has been) down to popularity with the X Factor fanbase, nothing else.

JLS have more going for them in the current music scene, though I do think their next album is crucial for them. So I'd definately say JLS.

Alexandra, she's not one of those one trick ponies even if she by chance decides to quit the music industry she'll probably branch into an acting career.

It depends on if girls get bored of JLS as to how long they last. Alexandra's career will depend on the songs for her next album.
At the moment JLS have the upper hand, but I think they're both likely to vanish in the next 2 years |

JLS could continue to have a successful career in the UK alone (more successful than AB) but AB has a better chance of International success

i think they have spent too much time rushing stuff out that now both are acts are pretty poor and deserve to be dropped, unless they produce something that can save their career, which is highly unlikely i think

I don't think they have tbh. Their last album did pretty well. And you can be a fan of more than one band.

I think Alexandra, she's got more talent!
I think we can see what's going to happen here... JLS 1st Album : 4x Platinum 2nd Album : 2x Platinum 3rd Album : Platinum I assume the 4th will go like Gold then so on.. |

A solo artist has the advantage over a band that they can never split up. Who can hold on to their record contract the longest? Dunno. JLS are preparing a new album so we shall have to see how well it does.

I'd say Alexandra. A lot of JLs's current fans will eventually grow up and grow out of their music (like I did with S Club etc). 1D and The Wanted seem to have taken over.

Once JLS have gone, they'll be gone. They'll never be able to comeback.
Alexandra has real talent, she always has the chance to come back. |
