You know, as much as I dislike Doug, I hope that when Stug finally ends, he does find someone nice.
Even if that does mean going back to America, I still hope he ends up happy. ![]() Also, lookie who it is.

So are we thinking Stug are still together by this point?
Cos it sounds to me like they're on a bit of a break, whilst Doug decides what he wants to do. |

A life changing descision could be to end his relationship with Ste, I think. I kinda just wanted Stug to just end mutually cos it just wasn't working though.

I'm not going to worry too much about what PJ said. What he said about Brendan pissed me off because he has nothing to do with any of their problems. But Jorgie said that she wanted Will and Theresa to get back together and well it's very unlikely that that's going to happen
. But I think that it's just his opinion to be honest. And hopefully Doug's life changing decision is that he decided to go back to America. And stay there.

Maybe Brendan appears right at the end as Doug and Ste are at the bus stop to leave.
He gets off the bus all bloodied up and Ste can't go and helps him home. ![]() I know it can't happen like that but in my mind it does. Doug stands forlornly at the bus stop, crying of course, Ste puts Brendan's arm around his shoulder and they limp off into the sunset.

I do like that this spoiler confirms that Ste knows there is still a connection between him and Brendan through their history together, something that obviously isn't going away and he tells Doug this, maybe

I like how Ste's possibly still thinking about his little thing with Brendan in the kitchen when he isn't even around, though.

And PJ was at a Pride the day they were filming cast funeral scenes. Doug just wouldn't not be there/ make any appearances, unless he wasn't in the village.

Ohhhh, maybe Doug decides to go away for a bit, like a few weeks/a month, and that's why he isn't at the funeral? Quote:
ETA: Yep same, Hannival.
I think Doug having to accept something is possibly Doug having to accept that Ste is probably always going to have feelings/love Brendan, even if he loves him too. ![]() And obviously that makes Doug second best, if Ste still loves the love of his life. ![]() ![]() Quote:

Also in that spoiler, I really hope it's genuinely the end of the Cindy/Rhys thing.

Has everyone seen that thread about someone leaving in the Autumn?
Not sure it's what it sounds like but it does sound suspicious. |

But PJ's been at work loads though, so if he goes away, it's certainly not for long. And we're talking 'in work nearly every day' here.

And I'm thinking if he decide he has to move on, that might mean he couldn't even be in business with Ste anymore. It'd be life-changing if his decision involves the deli.

There's nothing life changing about accepting something between Ste and Brendan. It wouldn't really make any difference to their relationship, because it's something that has always been there regardless.
Of course, though, the spoiler could just be OTT and it's not all that life changing at all.

Has Doug even got half of the deli anymore?
He didn't snog Brendan for 80 grand. ![]() Oh god every time I think of the deli I get annoyed, do you know how hard we worked to get our names above that door? I did some painting and Ste did the menu, it was hell I tell you. Money? Oh well Ste's ex paid for it but that's all. |

I assumed life changing meant splitting with Ste. It sounds the right way to do it, Doug realising he can't be involved when Ste has feelings for Brendan and taking himself out of the situation. Overall, best thing for Doug isn't it?
Because he'll never be happy with Ste so long as Ste loves Brendan/has Brendan in his life.

Actually that is a good point don't you only have half a business if you sign a contract and since Brendan signed it in Ste's name Doug basically has nothing. So he could just leave........
If this was to come what was all that crap yesterday about Ste being the one that changed Doug's life and all the cheesy love crap stuff? One thing i hope doesn't come off from their break up is Doug thinking he deserves better than Ste and Ste's bad or something although right now i don't like Ste too much. |
