I just don't see how he can really, never mind the going after Brendan stuff, he let an innocent woman die and I don't really see how they can gloss over that.

Yeah, 6-8 is always the maximum. I'm kinda shocked that they've managed to get that far ahead of themselves again but they must have been working overtime.

I guess they've been plodding away with a normal schedule for the people not required in Later or the rewrites, so they haven't been behind on everything. I just can't believe how lucky we are in terms of the black holes we were expecting. Poor tired Emmett, but lucky us.

It just makes it even more amazing that we're getting this and we never expected it, at least not this soon.

He sounded exhausted, but I can't help but be happy that he's getting these amazing sounding scenes.

Plus I like to think that he does like the challenge of all this deep down.

Yeah, exactly. How they've managed to keep all the main Later players onscreen has been fantastic. Especially when you compare it to last year, where the Later lot were nowhere to be seen all summer.

I'm sure he'd rather be busy than not.

Plus, he looks/sounds delicious when he's knackered.

The only thing I worry about now is that all this kitchen chemistry is just a bone to shut us up before another round of I love Doug me and you don't even know what love is Brendan, you're poison etc.

It seems unlikely to me that they would restart that particular roundabout but they do like to stick with one particular aspect of a storyline sometimes.

I'm also slightly worried that even if they do move onto together we are just going to get a rerun of I don't want Pa to know anything, enjoy the closet Brendan *Ste flounces*.

I just worry a lot but I don't think I could keep going if they just rehash stuff that has been done before.

Rough Emmett is seriously my favourite kind.

With Pa though I'm worried people are going to be like 'They just did this plot 2 months ago with Doug' in the terms of Brendan not being out to his dad and what not but like it really is a totally different situation. Brendan was abused by his dad and with Doug he was just never the favourite child.

I'm glad we're not really close to any type or reunion when he turns up though, with Ste just going through Doug being all closeted it would of been really irritating.

And with the kitchen chemistry stuff, if it doesn't end well, then at least we know we have one good moment coming out of it
