Kylie – The Abbey Road Sessions
Kylie Minogue releases her brand new album “The Abbey Road Sessions” on Parlophone Records on October 29.
The album features sixteen tracks, all radically reworked, spanning Kylie’s incredible 25 year career. The album was recorded in London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios with Kylie’s band and a full orchestra. Nick Cave re-recorded his vocal on the famous duet, “Where The Wild Roses Grow”, especially for the album. Other highlights of the album include a wonderfully poignant “Better The Devil You Know”, the ever-amazing “Confide In Me”, a sultry “On A Night Like This”, a joyous “All The Lovers”, the beautiful “Finer Feelings” and a version of “The Locomotion” which swaggers with true 1950’s panache. Over all 16 tracks one thing becomes very clear – stripped of her high end pop production, the emotional resonance of many of Kylie’s songs has never been clearer, nor has her voice ever sounded better. Kylie will perform most tracks from the album with the BBC Symphony Orchestra this Saturday September 8th at London’s Hyde Park, headlining Proms In the Park. Click here to pre-order The track-listing for the album is: ALL THE LOVERS ON A NIGHT LIKE THIS BETTER THE DEVIL YOU KNOW HAND ON YOUR HEART I BELIEVE IN YOU COME INTO MY WORLD FINER FEELINGS CONFIDE IN ME SLOW THE LOCOMOTION CAN’T GET YOU OUT OF MY HEAD WHERE THE WILD ROSES GROW FLOWER I SHOULD BE SO LUCKY LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT NEVER TOO LATE “The Abbey Road Sessions” will be available in the following formats: CD DIGITAL LIMITED EDITION DELUXE CD LIMITED 12” VINYL WITH CD – ONLY AVAILABLE AT WWW.KYLIE.COM |

Should be interesting. Although I will NEVER like Finer Feelings. Quite possibly one her worst songs ever IMO.

20 odd years later and this make believe disco dolly is still waving her nipple tassels around?
![]() Some people don't know when to quit. And the people still listening to this 3 year old in a 65 year olds body? Shame on you, I hope you find your souls. ![]() ![]()

I hope you learn some manners and consideration for other people, including their tastes and preferences. Then again, hope is just another word for wishing so both are unlikely, particularly since this isn't a fascist state and you aren't our dictator.

I've been excited for this release ever since I saw the performances of "On a Night Like This" and "Finer Feelings on YouTube. It's also nice to see a new version of the gorgeous "Where the Wild Roses Grow" and fan favourite "Flower" included. I'm slightly disappointed that she hasn't mixed a few album tracks in there as I can imagine "Loving Days" and "Dreams" sounding amazing backed by an orchestra. I'm also intrigued by "Never Too Late" as I've always felt that song would work extremely well as a ballad. Very excited to hear the rest of the tracks.

I'm really excited we are finally getting a studio version of flower. It's probably the best ballad she's written/sang. She was great at the bbc proms. People can find clips of that on Youtube. |

I just watched Kylie on Youtube. Her version of Wow at The Proms with the London Gospel Choir was a magnificent treat.
I love this arrangement. |

Listened to this today, it is FANTASTIC!!!!
The music arrangements are quite wonderful and Kylies voice is pure and clear. Can't choose a favourite but love Confide In Me's 28 Days Later vibe. |

I just realized that Wow is only a bonus track (for Australia)... What??!!!! I haven't heard the entire album but I saw her at the BBC proms and that was hands down the best performance. Why Kylie, why??!!!
Then again it wouldn't be a Kylie album without an awesome track missing from the main song list. |
