I'm a big fan of I Phones however if the video and pictures are true about the I Phone 5 i'm gutted.

For months I have been looking forward in upgrading my current I Phone 4, but the look of I Phone 5 just looks old, cheap, and the features are not doing it for me at all.

if you put both the 4 and 5 together and didn't know the difference you would automatically assume the 4 would be the newer model.

I have a contract with Vodafone and think it's best if the rumours are true just to keep my current phone and cancel my contract which is up for renewal anyhow and get a pay as you go sim card.

How can you tell its cheap looking when you have never held it?

Well of course you're free to do that... I'm sure Apple wouldn't force you to buy it.

Concept phones are usually hideous, though.

I would just wait till we finally see the real thing before jumping to conclusions.

Not sure what people expect sometimes. It's a rectangular phone...what can ya do with that? Round the edges a bit? Square them off?

For me, it's what the phone does that's important, not necessarily what it looks like (unless it's arse-end ugly, of course).

I would wait to see the presentation first to understand what is under the hood. Too early to speculate. At first glance when iphone 4 picture leaked everyone disliked it, but if you look around it's a great design.

Whilst I'll agree the rumours released so far sound very disappointing, they are only rumours and Apple are known to keep things under wraps until launch.

An anti-dote pre written conclusion to the pre-written conclusions we get every single time methinks.
In the music biz I find that the 'their best ever album to date' reviews usually happens when bands have already become bland and 'middle of the road'.

Obviously it is an improvement, giving the bigger 'perfect size screen' few yet admit to wanting.
The 4s resorted to booting 4 Siri users into touch in order to differentiate.

What I do wonder about is if the court case has now dulled any iPhone hysteria.

They're really not.

Details always leak.

The iPhone 5 has been more prolific in leakage, however.

It sounds fine. But fine doesn't cut it.

The last few versions have all been perfectly 'fine', good quality phones but the first couple were ahead of the game.

The trouble is, people still think it is ahead of the game as a result, especially those that don't read tech news every day.

You're going to slaughter Apple? I don't get it, surely if you don't want an iPhone you would buy something else then move on

So you dont buy stuff off the internet then that you've never seen in real life before? Fair enough, but there are many people that do make buying decisions without having seen something in real life.

Of course when it comes to looks you can be put off something by a picture or a movie.

There are many people claiming they will buy this phone even before this video same thing really is it not?

You can only make judgements on what is before you

If you like the iPhone 4 / 4S then I really fail to see how you will not like the iPhone 5 (if that is what it ends up being called and if the leaks are real).

A week from now what will have changed? Those that hate iPhones will probably still hate iPhones, and those that like them will probably still like them...
