Carl King is going to snuff it!
Tom Lister is leaving so it's safe to say Emmerdale are going to want to give him a big exit.
I think it's a real shame, I wanted him to get back with Chas and live happily ever after!!! |

Please say this isn't true ... I'll be utterly gutted if it is.

Unless they're bluffing?! ![]() Either way the extra who blabbed should never work in the industry again. That is a disgusting thing to let out of the bag if it was (is?) secret and they were trying to keep it so ![]() EDIT: Forgot to say, thanks evole for posting that

Well whenever/if ever he does leave it'll either be death or prison. They surely won't let the murderer go scott free?

It's been edited at the end to say that the info is wrong, that they know exactly what's going to happen but can't say. Phew!

Just when you think things can't possibly get worse. I love cheeky arrogant bastard Carl. He's one of the few characters who manages to make me laugh. Also that's another eye candy gone. First Pa Barton and now Curl ![]() Three years ago ED had the best looking male cast, now they are dropping like flies and replaced by the likes of Dan and Midget ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Please tell me this is a joke! (I think it is.)
The Kings were my favourite soap family, it was bad enough losing Max, Rosemary, Tom and Matthew over the years. If Carl dies too then the show has seriously lost the plot... |

Tom Lister is doing panto this year, so will probably be having a break for that.
I REALLY hope Carl doesn't die though. |

It's got to be a red herring. The truth about Paul Marsdens death and Tom Kings murder has to come out before he leaves/dies.
They did this with Jimmy in 2006, everyone thought he was going to die in the showhome explosion, then he survived and the actor revealed he was taking a three month break and returning later in the year. I think they're doing the same sort of thing with Carl. |

This had better be a joke
![]() I'm not even waiting him to stay just because I would like to see if Carl and Chas can find their way back to each other. Carl King is and interesting, compelling and sexy character. And all though they have only recently started using him more in the show (about bloody time to!), he is and asset to the show unlike the likes of characters like 'maurel/manure', Sandy or Betty, Alan or even Pearl (no disrespect to the last three). They are characters that a lot more would like to see the back of or ones that are just part of the furniture. I just don't know what will become of ED in terms of great male characters IF he goes cos the ones they have brought in recently have not had the sort of impact that the Kings did when they first arrived on ED. I am gonna be so worried now for the coming few months ahead of us
