I saw what I think is a wonderful Christmas song on tv yesterday, it is Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth sung by David Bowie and Bing Crosby. I remember seeing the show all those years ago (the Bing Crosby Show) and David was a guest. When they sung this song together, it blew me away. Still does.

Eartha Kitt - Santa Baby...
If you hate the Madonna version (and you should), then check out this version to find out how it should be sung. |

Eartha Kitt - Santa Baby...
Didn't Kylie Minogue cover this song? I am sure she did and it was dreadful, really really awful shocking!

For me top 4 are
1. Roy Wood and Wizard: I wish It Could be Christmas Every Day. Still got it on vinyl from al those years ago 2. Wham: Last Christmas 3. Pgues & Kirsty MacColl: Fairy Tale of New York and 4. Boney M: Mary's Boy Child. It's a great singalong song

My favourite Christmas songs are The Pogues - Fairytale Of New York and Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You.
Very different but I love them both. |
