Don't you think it might be better to wait for his original stuff, rather than what you've seen when he was hemmed in by the restraints of this show, before making that sort of judgment?

LOL!! you are so way off beam. You think I voted for Tabby because he is Irish? And that I am Irish.

My left leg and right arm are Welsh, my right leg and left arm are English and three of my toes and two of my fingers are scottish. That's as far back on the family tree I've got so far, but I suspect that my ears may be Irish, as my great great great Grandfather had a bike and a boat.

I voted for Tabby because he is the real deal IMO, he ticks all of my boxes and some.

Oh thats incredibly patronising! IM irish and I voted for Tabby cos i thought he was the best.

If Steve was Irish, then i would not have voted for him.

IM sure Steve and G4 got a lot of votes from their friends and people who knew them too. Difference is, they were counted!

From the Sligo Weekender
Thousands of Tabby fans were left frustrated on Saturday night as they failed to register their vote for The X Factor.
And problems with the Vodafone mobile phone network could have cost the Sligo rock star vital votes as he chased a place in the final of the English talent show...
However it emerged on Sunday that many of the votes sent by Vodafone customers, both on bill-phones and pre-paid phones did not register.
Some Vodafone customers were refunded the credit on their phones yesterday, Monday, but at the time of going to press Vodafone had yet to officially confirm any problems with their network.
Anymore questions

Regarding the source of the information, it was reported on the National News here in Ireland before lunch. If I can find a report on the News website I'll copy it to here.

And once again, I want to say I am not just saying this because Tabby was voted out, there's nothing to say that he would have been out anyway even if it wasn't for these 'missing' votes. I just think its worrying and I posted it really to see if anyone else had the same problem!”

there was less than 1% between the three
of course it could have made a big difference
when i read your initial post, don't know why
but i assumed it would be in your local news
reading this post confirmed my first impression
you have very good grounds for a complaint
i hope that you and other callers pursue
this matter through the appropriate bodies
as it is a disgrace that this has happened

I voted several times for Tabby on Saturday- by phone and text - I was still sending texts when Kate said the results are in, but they went through and I got charged for them. I didn't get any confirmation messages back until 2 am.

that's scandalous

your phone bill will show the times of the call
if you feel strongly about it demand a refund
if i was in your shoes i know i would..

i would also complain to the appropriate body

I actually voted for Steve about 10 times by text message on saturday and only got one confirmation back yet I still got charged for the other nine. I feel bad for Tabby fans but I don't think your gonna be on your own, with the way these phone companies are , I bet a lot don't get thru this Saturday, its not very fair really is it?
I would be interested to know whether the majority were on vodafone or it still happpened with a different network

Don't try and tell me that if someone from your county/town was in it that you wouldn't feel like supporting them!!!!!”

Actually I wouldn'y, if it was my best friend or the bloke next door maybe but the fact that he came from my town , county or country then so what. I am from Manchester but I favoured Tabby over Rowetta. I vote for who I like for in my case Steve because its about who the public likes best not about who they live near to or what country they are from, that type of voting and mentality makes me heave.

Hasn't everybody woken up to the realisation yet that the whole thing is probably fixed? Cowell & Co have their own agendas and vested interest. Whoever is the likely money-spinner will be successful - I don't think the voting public really have a say!!

Don't get bitter just because the dated rock stylings of faux rocker Tabby was chucked out on its ear.

Not bitter - just trying to be realistic If Tabby, Steve, G4, Rowetta or any of the guys and gals on the prog. have real lasting talent..it will come to the surface and they will succeed. They've had the exposure, now let's see who rises to the top of the music profession like the cream...if any!

Yes the cream is rising even with Louis trying to curdle the milk.
Steve straight to the top.
Heartfelt

I have to confess that Steve WILL be at the top .... if my wife, like a lot of the girls, has her way. What do these women see in him that us blokes cannot?
