oh no, i'm quite partial to the odd packet of ready salted, i just don't like walkers but they seem to swamp the market. In some smaller shops the only choice you get is walkers.

Kettle Chips are by far superior to Walkers. McCoy's are also so much better and tastier. M&S crisps are much better than Walkers. Though I do miss Golden Wonder!

Amazing how good they taste when they are free.

Work chucked out a box of ready salted as they were too near use by date - very tasty I am finding.

Be careful you don't get caught out by their multipack short weights scam. It had JethroUK frothing at the mouth - though nobody else seemed to mind...

M&S used to do a really nice beef & onion, worth checking if it's still around.

All snack companies seem obsessed with barbecue flavours.

Walkers are horrible - Golden Wonder, Smith's and KP were far far superior in both varities and flavour wheras Walkers are insipid - especially their Worchester Sauce flavour which has hardly any flavour and is virtually tastless.

My favorites were:

KP Beef, Salt & Vinegar
Smith's Salt 'N Vinegar, Bovril
Golden Wonder - Sausage and Tomato, Pickled Onion, Beef and Onion, Ready Salted, Salt & Vinegar, Turkey & Stuffing
Tesco Beef, Salt & Vinegar
Murphy's Worchester Sauce (possibly the best crisps ever)

I wish some (or all) of these would return with their original recipes.

Never heard of Murphy's before so can't comment but I don't find Walker's WS too bad at all.
Definately improvment over supermarket own WS flavour.

I'd buy Golden Wonder if I could find them.

I've gone off of Walkers. They're too dry. I think it's the fact that they've 'tried' to make them healthier using their sunseed oil.

On the rare occasion that I have a packet of crisps the last thing I want them to be is 'healthy'.
