The Voice being up week-on-week and only down a couple of tenths from Monday's two-hour show is good news for them. Its building some nice momentum ahead of the return of CBS, ABC and (on Tuesday) Fox next week. NBC have every reason to feel it can hold up relatively well next week. The same applies to Go On. That's a tiny week-on-week decline that suggests it can hold up next week. Although its going to have a tough week next week that'll make it or break. Early prediction if it drops less than half a point next week NBC pick up a full series.
The New Normal looks less healthy. Ordinarily you'd say NBC would be over the moon with that number but this is against no competition. We'll see what happens next week but I think its going to struggle to stay above a 2 next week and so then the question will be how long does NBC plug away with it. Parenthood continues to disappoint ratings wise. It might be time for NBC to call it a day there because again a tumble looks to be on the cards next week and it doesn't really have room to tumble.”

Go On might be the first official full-season pickup for NBC, seems as though they managed to hold up well in its second week. As for The New Normal, that is a tricky one. Like you said, NBC would be thrilled at a 2.2, but considering that broadcast season will begin next week, it looks worrying. At this stage, I think The New Normal might be this year's Up All Night. Last season, Up All Night premiered well, but lost plenty of ground as the season went on. Moving to Thursday nights did very little favours, but they rated just about enough to warrant a renewal. The New Normal might experience the same fate. After all, going under 2 is not completely disastrous for an NBC sitcom.
If it holds well or show signs of improvement, the show will remain on Tuesday 9:30pm and easily get a back 9-11 order. Unless they go down to an extremely concerning zone, if they perform around 1.7-2.2 per week (on Tuesdays), they might move to Thursday nights after 30 Rock finishes and pair with Up All Night (in that case, the sitcom will most likely get additional episode order, to total around 18-20 for season one), despite going head-to-head against CBS heavyweight comedies. Thursday 8pm/8:30pm will not have huge expectations. As long as it improves on Community's numbers last year and not get beaten by The CW, it should be fine.

!
- have they not learned their lessons about the length of the X Factor? It's way too long - it should be trimmed to 90 minutes, giving the viewer less of a marathon to get through (even taking out the ads on a PVR) and allow ROB to start at a more respectable time of 9.30pm.
