Ripper Street does look good and I think it has an in-built curiosity factor as there is still fascination about Jack The Ripper. I'll be watching that documentary.

Does anyone know if Shetland is 2x 60m or 90m? Because if Ripper Street was to air Sunday and Monday it won't be able to start until the 18th after Downton/History of the World, leaving two Monday 9pm slots free between then and New Tricks finishing, which could be filled with Shetland.”

I can't see Ripper Street going on any other day than Sunday or Monday, either would have it finishing on Christmas Eve or going into next year so the only solution is double it up and air it on both. That would leave Wednesdays for Brazil, I can see The Secret of Crickley Hall taking that slot first (since Halloween is a Wednesday it could air 24th Oct-7th Nov) but Brazil could air after that.”
Ripper Street looks really good and apparently starts next month. But where will it go?
