Nah. Ratings are down but ratings are down across the board. It isn't enough to make them just drop it, especially when it has done so well for them the past three seasons and improved in ratings. They can just class this season as a blip.

However if the ratings continue to decrease next season, that's when we should start to worry.

Are we sure Ian was the target? I've been out of the loop because of lack of internet but I thought Ian and Dan were working together?

I assumed that Ian and then Danielle were nominated to keep their alliances with Dan quiet and also because Dan knew they wouldn't take it personally so no enemies would be made. Also it would make more sense for Dan to get Joe out than Ian because Joe was coming for him - Ian wasn't.
