Does it matter if pink wrote it or not? Pink usually writes a massive chunk of her stuff. I like Try and think it's great for 2nd single. I've listened to it repeatedly

The only reason I think that is because she is my favourite artist/person ever

and the thing that I love the most about her music (other than her amazing voice) is that her lyrics are amazing and the songs are so personal to her. She's an amazing songwriter and I would rather hear something written by her than anyone else.

I dno't have any problem with it being a song she didn't write. She didn't write Get The Party Started! You can tell she can relate to the song, and there's passion in her vocals, and that's what I'm bothered about personally. Plus, I love the song!

I don't think it's a bad thing doing a "cover" of sorts, considering her whole back catalogue. I really like Try as it really suits her. She obviously liked it to feature it on the album. I'm a big pink fan too but as she is not known for doing covers or someone else's song, i think it's totally fine this time

I definitely agree that she doesn't have to prove herself in any way, considering everything she has written.

I just thought it was a bit odd tbh.

I do understand how you feel. Sometimes when it comes to my favourite artists, I feel better knowing the artist wrote the song (or contributed to it) so it feels more personal. But as you said, P!nk writes and contributes to most of her albums, and others are a bit like "what?

" because they thought she'd have wrote Try. I love this song though, so I'm glad she's using it.

I heard the youtube links. I love 'Just Give Me A Reason' feat. Nate Ruess. I'm surprised she has 3 features on the album. She hasn't had many features on albums since Missundaztood. I'm used to her doing it all herself. Regardless, I'm still getting the album
