I can upgrade without penalty in December, my iphone 4 currently has a value of over £200 according to this

It is possible, therefore that i could sell my iphone 4 this month upgade to the five and incur no additional cost. But it'll take a killer upgrade to the device to make me even consider it.
iphone is a very sleek looking device although the 4 is starting to look a bit dated. It is simple to use and packed with features but there are a number of things i dislike about it:
1). The icons are not "live". They do not deliver information other than the number of updates (i.e. count of email, sms etc). Other phones now do this so Apple is trailing.
2). The phone insists on placing icons on my first home screen. I want to see my background image and swipe to the second, third and fourth home screens to access my applications.
3). It does not update applications automatically and requires a password every time it does an update. This is just silly.
4). The camera is decent but on the rare occasion i've used it for video, has retained the portrait orientation meaning to get a decent full screen view on a laptop you have to turn it on its side. Its a waste of time showing it on a big flatscreen as you get over 50% of the screen filled by black bars.
5). I cannot customise it to automatically switch to a different profile depending on where i am. For instance, at work i might want no notificaitons, always on silent. At home i might want the opposite.
6). It has been promised since rollout they would enable FaceTime over 3G but have not done so yet. Yes, i can use Skype if i wish but the native client should work by default.
7). It isn't comfortable to hold and type for any length of time, the sharp edges at the bottom start to irritate my fingers after a while.
8). I don't really use or care for itunes and even though i'm a very savvy tech consumer, i'm unclear whether its going to treat the computer itunes app or the phone as the master source. Give that i once had an ipod filled with music and a pc with virtually none and it erased them from the ipod, i'm reluctant to try - most of my music is only on my phone. Just give me a basic explorer drag and drop function for the love of god!
9). I couldn't care less about Siri. I don't want to talk to a device and the limited UK functionality provides no incentive to convince myself its time to change.
I have yet to explore the range of other devices out there at present although i intend to over coming months, once i know what the new iphone has to offer.
So to conclude, Apple cannot be certain of my business and need to move on significantly with iphone 5.
Sure there are a few of you out there who know if any other devices resolve some of my issues above, any thoughts?
