Right, I've been googling and looking on spotify for AGES trying to make a sort of "unrequited love" playlist for a project I'm working on - but I'm trying to look for songs about loving someone who doesn't/can't love you back - not break-up songs.

Any that sound in similar veins to John Mayer would be good, and preferable not dancey songs. But I'm open to suggestions.
