I agree. He didn't even deny what she was saying last night about how she was just a bunk up and someone to look after the kids. The only reaction she got from him was when she spoke about Peggy. No love there imo. He does 'care' for her though, but obviously not enough to hide and lie to her face about Heather's murder.

That's the spirit. Now, just you sit back and start thinking about what's going to happen when she walks back onto that square. There's definitely unresolved issues in many things, including their relationship.

And I think he used her at the beginning of their relationship but I don't think he did towards the end. And anyway, you can still love someone but find that they come in handy for all sorts of things (e.g. DIY!) - couldn't be classed as 'using' too? You love them but they also have the added advantage that they can do this, that and the other for you. Depends what the 'used' person is getting back from the other I suppose ....

I think Carly is great, she's matured into a good character and it would be a crying shame if that's the last we saw of her. I liked the way she said she was more understanding of her mum running away now, NOT that she agreed with what she did, just that as she got older she could see things a bit clearer. Nice piece of character progression

And I LOVED the way she laid into Phil Mitchell


I know this post is directed at someone else but I can honestly say that she'll always be Sharon Watts to me!


It sticks in the craw that Ben has ultimately faced up to what he did and is ready to take his punishment, that Jay (with permission from Ben it has to be said) has done the same but that the man in his early 50's, the grown up is still hiding from the law and punishment. He's a yellow belllied, selfish sh!t

He didnt deny it but he said that before when they split that he used her. He used her yes but he didnt Say he didnt love her.

The look on his face was like " i know thats true but it doesnt mean i dont love you" it was good he didnt deny it it means he wasnt using her or trying to make her see differently he walked away when he knew he couldnt argue with her

Also cos he had already said about caring for her she said " you never cared about me" so it doesnt mean he didnt love her just cos he didnt deny it. He ddint deny he didnt care but we know he does. Just think she wouldnt have beleved him if he said anything

Thank god Shirley got a bit of life back. Was nice to see Carly back briefly, but don't think she would fit for a permanent comeback. Good episode.

I thought it was strange that they tried to imply that Denise was a bad mother in this episode to tie in with the Shirley stuff.

"Where are my kids?" well Libby went to university and Chelsea needed to get away after the Lucas fiasco. Both went with Denise's blessing that I recall. Denise was one of the better mothers on the show.

I'm glad Carly was only back briefly I see KS hasn't learnt the old adage of less is more. Looking at her IMDB she's done loads since Enders, I wonder if it's just the way she interprets Carly, some of her facial expressions are fascinating.

I wonder if she was thinking of the calibre of men she'd brought into their lives..Owen and then Lucas. If she'd made better choices they might not have felt the need to move away.

After the last few weeks, no. I liked her up until Ben's arrest, then things went downhill. I won't miss her at the moment. I was never a fan of her doormat behaviour, but yeah...

To this day it still pissed me off when we met Clare Bates again and she implied Nigel was a bad step father or and do NOT get me started on Vicki and apprently Michelle being with a man who neglected Vicki.

Considering how much of a b!tch Clare was (Nigel was brilliant!) and how annoying Vicki was most of the time, I always wanted to shout "STFU" at them for saying that.

If only half the fully grown men acted the way Carly did around Phil. It's ridiculous how many are scared of him.
