imo i got fed up of shirleys drunk scenes. her best scenes recently have been with phil (& denise/jean) i think if they were to get back together they'd be a lot stronger and she wouldn't be as weak as before. as i said last night was kind of the conclusion so it would be silly to backtrack it even if they did get back together

I think she was at her best when her kids were still on the Square...they make her character so much more interesting.

I can't even remember what Shirley was like on her own now, it feels like her and Phil have been together that long (although if mona is right and it is 5 years, that IS a long time).

What happens to those who fail to meet their episode thread creating commitments? Are they shunned by the DS community? Is there an online equivalent of being put in the stocks, where a thread is set up with the title simply being the poster's name and free reign is given to the community to type their thoughts of said poster?
