I love just how much you missed the point. She has far from sold out.

On Friday tickets were being sold at a third of the price and many London companies were being given free tickets for staff.

My place got 25 tickets.

So did I. She was amazing, and great to see her get fans onto the stage and have them sit / dance with her

well your missing the point aswell. The saturday date sold out on the day, within 10 mins, therefore liventation/gaga has got all the money she could have got with that capacity. The tickets being sold 1/2 price are on dealer sites, so people have already bought the tickets officially, and maybe couldnt make the date so instead of letting it go to waste, they would rather get some money back

I mean, does this look like no one want to see gaga?

A friend of mine saw her last night and said that she enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed it and to be honest it doesn't really bother me who paid or tickets or who was given them. It was obvious to anybody in the crowd that we were all having a great time - it was the most amazing feeling being in a crowd like that. I'd go again every night this week given the chance!

I have to agree. I LOVE Gaga and this was the third time I had seen her, but this was my least favourite concert. I really can't put my finger on what it was yet.

They didn't sell out on the day, and they didn't sell out within 10 minutes. Of course there are crowds, they gave thousands away at bargain bin prices. I know the truth hurts when it comes to your mother alien or whatever she is. But she didn't sell out.

Some tickets are sold direct, others through third parties. Who were selling tickets up until an hour before the show last night. At a great discount. To sell out - you have to sell out everywhere!

I am not saying she isn't popular or sold very well, but it wasn't a sell out. Even if the touts and dealers snapped up the last few and Gaga etc get their money - the people aren't in there and the headlines of bargain tickets doesn't do any good for image when the media have already began their campaign to bring her down. (You know - the British media and their building of an icon only to rip it down)

LiveNation added more tickets this past week or two though, as they've done for countless other "sold out" dates. It's standard procedure if they think they can squeeze some more people in.

It doesn't really benefit LN to hypothetically lie about this "sold out' show and then supposedly give away thousands of tickets at the last minute when they could have just left them to be steadily sold rather than closing up sales and pretending there were none left.

No doubt discounts and hand outs took place, like with any concert, but I highly doubt it was a significant percentage of the audience. The second night, however...

edit: They had "permission to film" disclaimer posters up, so if they're filming a DVD this weekend...that would certainly explain why they're wanting to fill up this stadium as much as possible.

well i was in block L17 lower level which i thought was a good view (at the time of purchase at the cost of £80) as it was a head on view but i was in row 12 and the first 9 rows were EMPTY! i had loads of seats either side empty. then about an hr into gagas performance people from im guessing the mid and upper tiers were coming down to the seats near me which did piss me off somewhat as i paid more. i also noticed that when the stadium was filling up the people who had tix in the first 10 rows of the lower tier block L the customer service guy was coming over telling the people they could upgrade or move their seats as their view seemed to be restricted from the merchandise stores in the way and because the stage was way too far back...why they could bring the castle further forward ill never know so you could actually see the thing!!. I for one will never attend a music concert at twickenham or a stadium again. Last night was the first it and last for me. Makes the o2 look a million times better!

The talk was that 2million people wanted tickets but thats just the crazy hype that surrounds Gaga. The truth is the second Twickenham date has been a very slow sell and she had to downsize Sofia to an arena from a stadium due to slow sales.

I tried to get tickets on the day, at 9am and I failed. They only added tickets
Iike a week before because once they've set up the stage they can see what extra seats they could add

Anyway we'll see when the official billboard figures come out because they only incorporate bought tickets, they don't lie. I doubt she would be bothered about the media tryna bring her down when she's about to have one of the biggest tours by a female ever, and on an "underperforming" album

The first Twickenham date did sell out quick and like you said they add tickets when the stage is set up so they can see how many gaps there are and then add extra tickets. The second date though has struggled to sell and she'd have probably been better off doing 3 nights at the O2 or something. Dublin is struggling as well. I don't think the media are trying to bring her down, if anything she has had it easy where the media is concerned. If they had it in for her they would pick up on the slow ticket sales and make it headline news but they are keeping it all quiet

I was in L12 and paid £70. I thought I would have a good view but I didn't and was bitterly disappointed. I couldn't see a thing but a small dot on stage so didn't get to appreciate her outfits or her performance/dancers. Even the screens were far too small and the camera people were not great at capturing what was going on.

I did enjoy the music and had a good time but I agree sports stadiums are just not good for concerts. I certainly won't go to a stadium again

My cousins went and loved it. As for empty seats. Stadium gigs are rarely full at the best of times. This is for a number of reasons. Mainy because a number of those seats were never on sale anyway due to safety concerns. A full house can cause problems if an accident was to occur. Its called covering their own asses.

I'd say it was a good turn out;

i went last night and thoguht it was such a good show! i was right up on the highest level there was (sadly) and she was quite small would love to have been in the monsterpit but would never have been able to dedicate days to camp out!

She rocked the stadium everyone around me ( which was full as far as i could see a part from the odd chair here and there due to safety reasons) was dancing away and really enjoyed themselves!
