Simon Mayo's Radio 2 Drivetime Features
Is it me or are some of Simon's Radio 2 drivetime features boring. I can listen to Evans, Bruce, Vine and Wright but I just find 'three word days' where listeners text in three words about the day they're having rather stale. i.e. 'Cheques in Post' from Dave in Dartford. - who really wants to know? The Confessions thing he spends so much time on can be considered slightly mocking of the Roman Catholic Church can't it! Referring to traffic lady as Mother Superior and all that! Is it just me but it's the radio 2 weekday show I least enjoy. Mind you I don't find Keith Lemon funny but Frank Sidebottom had me in stitches!
