Will there be a day when someone can make these kinds of crisps without them stinking out your breath, clothes and the area around you? I only eat such flavours in the privacy of my home and wouldn't dare eat them in a public place. Roast Chicken has to be the worst for stench but the problem is I love a bit of meat.

Walkers Roast Chicken and Smokey Bacon are tasty

As well as Bbq Beef Hula Hoops, I only really eat crisps in my room anyway so I don't mind stinking my room out with the crisps smell

Cheese n onion and salt n vinegar stink the house out as well. Don't think its just meat flavors.

Just had a packet of each which inspired this thread.

Agree about Scampi Fries too - very tasty but rank after effects!

I eat the crisps, notice the stench and query the possibility of creating stenchless crisps?

The new Walkers Deep Ridge Flame Grilled Steak crisps are brilliant! Bought a 6-pack in Sainsburys the other day. Within 3 hours of getting home I'd eaten four of them!

Affff. I've never been a crisp fan. They taste like stock cubes and nasty packet soup mixes.

If I'm eating them I don't notice it so much but my nephew had a bag the other day and it was really noticeable when he sat next to me. Well whiffy . Still tasty ,mind.

The smell does not bother me as they are more smelly thing out there like cheap perfume and aftershave, some car exhaust fumes, rubbish, food vendors eg burgers, kebabs. and SFC, and urine

You can smell crisps on a person whatever the flavour.

At least with stock cubes there's some relation to meat, beef crisps are normally favoured with yeast extract. The only time you get proper flavouring is with higher end brands like walkers sensations, where they ominously use meat powders.

Good idea, that way your fingers don't smell of meat either.

That's the only problem, but it does sort out the breath issue which I'd say is worse.

Do people really care about the smell of crisps?

This sounds like one of those made up first world problems that advertisers come up with to sell something that people didn't realise they needed, usually because they don't.

People should only be eating Crisps once a week, I don't think people truly understand the levels of saturated fat found in them and also the damage it causes to teeth.
