Re Humax Foxsat Device

I want to run a de-duplication across all of kids directories. It looks as though there is a utility called dedup on the Terrestial Humax PVR, but not on the Foxsat.

Is this true?

If so, I reckon it would be simple enough to write my own utility, using information in the hmt file. What scripting languages are available on the device? What would be recommended. It looks as though there is micoperl for Busybox, presumably this would be the way to go. Would like to use Groovy ideally

Much simpler to install the custom firmware and do it from Windows using Windows Explorer or ftp.
