I hate change too, and I think I'll find it a bit hard to cope when they leave just because my routine (at least online) will change.

I know I get this is as well. Also when I'm doing other stuff i.e. walking to town and I suddenly think of Chryed a wave of emotion comes over me and I just want to cry but I remember I'm in public so have to try and let it pass.
Hello, I don't know if we've meet yet but like Lovebites, I saw you post in my lurking days
Anyway when I was lurking on another thread and saw some comments on articles it was lovely to see some non-Chryedians i.e. general EE audience sharing the Chryed love and wanting them to live happily ever after as well (obviously barring certain comments). Also, many shared the view that they were criminally underused for the sake of other rubbish drama. It's good to know that I think they were pretty much liked outside of the fandom. (i.e. I know my family really, really like them but I'm pretty sure they haven't join this thread- LN - the love for them extended beyond the chryed fans).
Another thing I don't really like it when articles have the headline, Christian and Syed are leaving the Albert Square in a "massive shake up"- it seems misleading to me like they were axe - noo they chose to leave - or were characters that contributed to EE's awful current predicament which isn't the case because tptb didn't give them screen time.

It hard and is really tough- Chryed and the thread certainly was my escapism as well when r/l got tough.
Good lucking with everything and I hope when the time is right that I may see you post now again but yep first like you said take the time to process this news and concentrate on yourself.
Change is scary but it can equally be exciting (Evidence shown by Johnny numerous tweets of exciting work after EE and Marc desire to look for more acting challenges)
