I think it may be released as a single but I don't think it would really be a hit because it does sounds too generic. The only dance and pop songs that I see could becoming hits would be Whip It and Va Va Voom.

Better than Pound The Alarm, but still feels like Starships part 3. Top 20 most likely, lucky number 9 or 10 scrape at best-case scenario.

No it would flop. If Pound the Alarm only peaks at #8 in the UK, and can't reach the top 10 in the US, this will do even worse. It's extremely generic. Nicki should just take a break and come back with some better music.

Va Va Voom or Masquerade should be the next single then HOV Lane or Champion then Whip It and then she should move on to her next album...unfortunatley she's re-releasing the current one, sigh.

Shoudl Release Whip It first

You know how contrived and fixed the charts are, with that girl having to take her song of itunes as it was outselling little mix!

Don't let chart positions fool you, Pound The Alarm has sold around 250,000 copies in the UK. Though I agree with the rest of your post. Automatic seems like Starships Part III. Another "Dance" by numbers song. I know Urban isn't exactly huge over here in the UK but I didn't see what was wrong with the type of material she used to release. Even before Super Bass, Pink Friday had gone Gold.

I haven't a clue to be honest. I'm getting on in years, so my taste in music is different to the current pop that's out there, but can someone answer this: Why the hell do people call this woman a rapper? Robbie Williams raps better than her

r&b is massive over here, just not commercially.

Marilyn Monroe and Whip It are the only potential chart hits on Roman Reloaded.
