Really like this show - got confidence oozing out of it as the series progresses
Shame it is being pared back to 30 mins again next week as Channel 4 are desperate to bury that ratings slump of Paddy McGuiness clips show with the so very bad editing with canned laughter. |

I thought they weren't going to make jokes about Oscar Pistorius
![]() It is interesting that they both said they would put their legs on if they thought there was an intruder in their house... |

I thought the show was funny in parts but didn't laugh out loud. I can see potential though so will try it again next week. |

A great show as always, but why was JLC there?
She came on, sat down and said next to bugger all. Though to be fair she had a hard time getting a word in edgeways due to the others doing their stuff. |

This is improving week by week. Last week's and tonight's were excellent episodes. Definitely works well with the extension, 30 minutes was far too rushed and it's a shame it's going to be scaled back next week, it's perfect as it is right now. Can't Alan Carr start at 10:30? I'm sure it has for a while in the past.
I hope it's recommissioned and gets a longer run, maybe 13 weeks or something. By the way, does anyone know where it's filmed? |

Your grammar is poor. It's "Aussie", not "Ozzy". For someone so reverent of Tommy Cooper, you don't seem to want to even show enough respect as to capitalise his name. However if your humour is best suited to that of the late 70s and early 80s, why would you bother watching a modern comedy show anyway? The Comedians is out on DVD and UK Gold can cater to your tastes.
Also you are trying to compare a wordplay based stand up comedian to a prop comedian and one liner performer. You might as well try compare fire eaters and jugglers. Just because they might share a stage, doesn't make all the performers the same. Your view is as limited as your grammar. |

The spoof charity Ad worked well.
Also, "Is it OK..." is both funny and informative. |

I don't think she added much, but I imagine it would be difficult to slot in to a group that work comfortably together in the way they do.

So disappointed that it's going back to half an hour. It's not enough, as proved by the first couple of episodes.

Didn't see the speech (this was the first episode I've watched). What would be the rationale behind not making jokes about Oscar? I can see if they felt the first show was too soon after the news broke (I think it would have been the day after) - but generally these things are fair game for comedians. I expect they've made jokes about Lance Armstrong. So why not Oscar?

I didn't think she was handled well, though - the interview questions got trapped in an avocado spiral and couldn't get out. I think she could have contributed more had she been given better opportunities.
Partly for legal reasons. The show goes out live so can't be vetted in advance by lawyers. Partly because, as they said last week, either he's guilty and their hero has fallen, in which case they're gutted, or else he's innocent and it was a tragic accident, in which case their gutted. Neither left them in a joking mood. |

He wasn't a hero to all (his petulance when he didn't win gold took the shine off for me). My reasons for not joking about it would be more in deference to the victim and her family. |
