Watching the omnibus on e4 right now and ruby is annoying the hell out of me by sucking up to maddie. "oh maddie, you're such a nice person" and "Phoebe's jealous because George likes you more than her." Ugh, her simpering attitude is really getting on my nerves. Esther should have slapped ruby as well as Maddie

She always got on my nerves, being a push over with jono and her whole relationship with jono. Now she got even more annoying, Maddie treated her like crap before, trying to kick her out the stupid group, but she following Maddie around like a sheep and arse licking her. Yes, Esther should have also slapped her.

Ruby's attitude is pathetic. She appears to have forgotten that Maddie is a nasty manipulative cow because she's so far up her arse.

Ruby's a right idiot, so's Sinead for that matter, Maddie was a bitch to both of them and now thier just friends with her. I don't get why they are all licking Maddies arse not only is she a horrible person but its not like shes a remotely interesting person anyway:sleep:

Sinead is always up Maddie's bum hole aswell she chose her over Ruby and Esther.
What is going on with Jono and Ruby? they are good together but when they split they both become unlikeable.

I completely agree about the character transplant and I think they've done the same to Tilly as well. I have in no way been a fan of any of the students this year but I always thought Tilly was the best out of the bad bunch. Well not anymore, she has turned so unlikeable with this Jen storyline. I find with Hollyoaks (and soaps in general, I guess) they change characters to suit storylines even if the plot would totally be against their nature. They have done this with Ruby, with the upbringing she's had I don't think she'd ever be bested by the likes of Maddie, or be interested in pleasing Jono, but they have changed her personality with no explanation just to keep the story running.

All teenagers want to fit in. Ruby feels she can't take on Maddie with the likes of Sinead on her side as well. So doesn't be the bitch to her. She is a teen and insecure.

Like I say group dynamics among teens always changes quickly and it isn't that unusual.

Ruby takes the meaning of arse-licking to a whole new level. It's embarassing how she sucks up to Maddie. I thought Sinead was bad, but Ruby puts her out of business .

I don't know if anyone remembers but back in the day, Steph Dean used to be a real mare, a right nasty piece of work. Then she got attacked and nearly killed by one of the many HO serial killers and she became nicer! So maybe there's some big, maybe serial killer related story waiting for Ruby or Maddie, if they last that long and don't get axed!

Jono is a throughly dislikable person, always trying to get his end away, if anyone should be axed its Jono.

Ruby is annoying me lately, but she can do better than Jono.
