"Live It Up" is only at #19 on iTunes singles while her main competitor, Amelia Lily is at #3. This low performance is despite the X Factor exposure, Capital FM playlisting, and not one but TWO music videos of the song.

Thoughts?

You can dress it up all you like and have the best publicity machine going, but shite is shite, and people know it when they see it.

It's a better single than "Young" IMO

I dont think she has any likeability with the public - it seems so false on xf. To see her all "nations sweetheart" on there and then read her mouthing off on twitter (which admittedly shes toned down lately) says it all.

it was only released at midnight. give it a chance.

There's two versions available a radio mix and album mix, one being at #19 and the other at around #40, combining them, which they will in the chart show puts it in or around the top 10, still not a great showing after a #1 and the exposure.

as i said in one of the other threads, it's a poor follow up to "Young" IMO. Amelia's is easily one of the best singles to come out of the X-Factor camp since "Bleeding Love" and fully deserves to be number 1.

It'll be a huge embarrassment if Tulisa's single fails to make the top 10.

People are in such a rush to dismiss artists these days.

i dont like the song much. but to be fair, tulisa did say she does not expect this song to go top 10.
i guess she just wanted to show another side to herself, a risk, but shes not releasing an album yet anyway is she?

The ep is at 11 in albums and the single at 17. Combine these with sales in amazon etc she could make the top ten still.

sorry but iIthink her solo stuff is terrible and this year she seems so vaccant on XF? What is going on? her duet with little Mix was great.....so I know she can sing....

Ok, we'll all stop criticising, and we'll sit back and let these industry puppets release total crap without any sort of backlash.

May as well just close DS down.

surpised but pleased that Amelia is doing so well...especially as it is against a similar sounding artist....

Its still climbing + people are buying her EP. Amelia doesn't have an EP to buy so that's why her single is charting so highly. I hope both do well.

She doesn't sing solo on it, it's a collab with her bestfriend and also singer Ny.

Didn't it go the same with Ne-yo and The Script last week?

Pink was #1 waay earlier yet they end up higher than her

EPs sell next to nothing these days but it's #17 & #43 on itunes so a top 15 placement is in order.

My bet is around the #8 - #12 mark.

It's an horrific song though with a sluttish video which does nothing more than remind people she's had a sex tape. This is NOT the Tulisa that was once the singer of N-Dubz. Dappy's the only one that's stayed true to his roots.

Ah my mistake... I still think she should release it though, as a solo artist featuring...

Is this a joke? The songs ok, but nowhere near Bleeding Love and isn't 'easily one the best singles to come out of X-Factor'. It's bland and generic, which is a shame because she has an amazing voice.

back to 'Live it up'. I like the song but it isn't dance and Tulisa isn't a big solo star so obviously it's not going to shoot up I tunes, it's still climbing though and she hasn't performed it anywhere yet. This situation reminds me of Pixie Lott with 'all about tonight' and 'what do you take me for' - a big dance hit then a modern 'urban-pop' hit.

Her music in general has been disappointing compared to N-Dubz music, she lost her 'swag' but at least isn't as bad as god awful dappys. That man is laughable.

With the #16 version and #44 version, she is at #13ish

And the EP is top 10 on iTunes aswell so she is probably Top 10 atm. Both of the songs are cimbing to so I reckon she'll chart about 10 on Sunday )
