you never know, she could pull off a Neyo and gradually get to the top 5 (unless things start to drop)

People are in such a rush to dismiss artists these days.
Get a hobby. Do some volunteer work. Or find a life even What has this got to do with Tulisa? Surely you aren't referring to her as an 'artist'

Was stood 20ft from the stage at Wireless when I had the misfortune of apparently hearing her sing it for the first time. God it was awful. My younger brother got me into N-Dubz a few years back and I downloaded 'Young' prior to Wireless but I wouldn't buy anything else now.

I really love Tulisa's song, but it was obvious to most sane people that it wasn't going top 10. A lot of people don't like the song, and it's urban-styled, which means it'll do worse in the charts. Amelia's song is dance-styled, so obviously it will do better. Amelia would also miss the top 10 if she released an urban-styled song.
A lot of artists like Nicki Minaj who do songs similar to Live It Up don't even bother releasing them in the UK, for the reason that they know they won't do well here. I'm glad Tulisa used it as a single though, since I really love the song, it's much better than Young imo. |

I massively prefer this song to Young/to me it really feels like more of who Tulisa actually is in that it's so laid back and chilled, although I do wonder why it's being released - IMO it doesn't have a big enough hook to catch casual listeners. While it would make an solid album track, it doesn't exactly feel chart-friendly. |

Fair enough you don't like it, but I hate this culture of actively wanting people to fail/labelling them flops literally hours after their song hits itunes.

I think this track was released more to sell the album when it's out and show that it'll have some depth and different genres. She got her number 1 with Young so a number 1 wasn't important this time, obviously they want it to do well though. I do hope it makes top 10 though. |

Where is Tulisa at the minute? They are promoting the hell out of the single on Facebook. Like every 2 hours nearly.

the song is awful!
it reminds me of the N-dubz crap we have already heard. her voice does not do the song any good. i instantly turn to another music station or channel when i hear it! |

I'm surprised how bad she sounds on record to be honest, she sounded quite good on the X Factor final and quite natural, but anytime I've seen her perform her "Ibiza anthems" she sounds really strained and almost like she can't breathe whilst singing. It's very odd.
Young was catchy, this Live it Up track though is dire. |

Live It Up is terrible. Almost a shame that it's going to do better than Cheryl's Under The Sun did... plus people talking about EP sales... they really do count for nothing. Bo Bruce's was in the iTunes top 5 practically all week and didn't even chart by the Sunday.

Just checked, she's #13 and #68 on the singles chart on iTunes, the EP is also #68..
In Ireland she's at #60 and the EP isn't in the top 100. (Amelia Lily is at #25) |

I wish both songs would go top 10 though, they're great songs, and it's nice to see that two pop stars are able to move away from the dance-pop formula that everybody else uses.
