I'm watching Hollyoaks on and off as it's been very hit and miss lately so I haven't got the full picture of what happened with these two characters.

I gather that Walker is an undercover cop and that he has a brother with brain damage because of something Brendan did?? What did Brendan do and how did Walker manage to get in prison with the sole purpose of befriending him? Why did he let the doctor kill Lyndsey? And speaking of which why did the doctor kill Lyndsey?

What is Ally about? Last I saw he was in a lapdancing club and one of the girls was telling Lyndsey(?) that she almost got raped and that Ally saved her (or something like that) and Ally does it because it happened to his sister? But then after Lyndsey left the girl said to Ally something like "So what was that lie all about?" and he just dismissed her. Also, are the Walker and Ally storylines related in any way to each other?

The Walker/Brendan thing- All i know is Brendan did something to Walkers brother, Walker wants revenge. He was allowed to befriend Brendan because he told his boss that Brendan did criminal stuff and he would get close to him to find out everything but in actual fact he wants to hurt Brendan.
Dr B killed Lynsay because she knew Mercedes was the stalker and he was ibsessed with Mercedes and didnt want to see her in prison. Walker didnt help because he knew he lynsay dying would hurt brendan.
Ally is a fraud (I dont get all the business with the Kanes and why he wants to hurt them.

Maybe Ally is Martha's son she had when she was very young and he wants revenge? Though I hope not because that;s been done before. To be fair I haven't noticed him interacting with the Kanes so I'm just speculating.. Where's the father in all this? He keeps getting mentioned but he hasn't been seen so far, has he? Maybe the Ally thing is surrounding him?

OK, so Brendan sold drugs to Walker's younger brother Cam. Cam overdosed and has been in a persistent vegetative state since then.

Walker was put into jail undercover to infiltrate a prison drugs ring run by a guy named Kai. He only discovered that Brendan was the man who sold his brother the drugs by pure accident.

Two reasons why he might have let the Doc kill Lynsey: one is because Lynsey had found out from Ally that Walker was undercover, and he knew she'd tell Brendan. Two because he knew Lynsey's death would really hurt Brendan.

The nearest we've got to the truth about Ally is that he has been prosecuted for identity theft in the past. Walker was the arresting officer, which is how they know each other. So, they both have something on each other, that they don't want others to know. All of Ally's stories about himself (including the sister) are lies. He steals other people's identities and uses it to infiltrate their families.
