It's probably Sainsbury's Basics chocolate wrapped in funky paper.

Yes. I get a sense now that all of them might invest. Before it seemed as though two or three were just messing about for the cameras.

Excellent episode of DD tonight. Really. One of the most enjoyable episodes i've seen in a long, long time and i love all the new Dragons'. They're fantastic and MILES better than Kelly and Piers because they actually have personalities and are extremely likable. The best thing about the 3 new Dragons' is that they're ALL willing to invest and even take punts. That makes a good Dragon in my eyes.

Nick and Touker are larger than life and Nick in particular is hilarious. Touker is eccentric (Touker time - a bit cringe. Not every episode thank you) and looks a lot like Theo so he gets an immediate pass and Sarah is just rather really lovely and a lot more friendly than ice queen Kelly Hoppen who she replaced.

Some great pitches tonight and nice to see the Dragons' in competitive mode. I fear Peter is going to be one of those Dragons' who won't be sharing any investment with any of the new team.

One thing i was surprised by (and it might just have been in this episode) is that it seems there's a lack of important business questions being asked by the Dragons'. For example the first pitch with the African foods, i didn't hear anyone ask for the profit/gross figures of the business to date or even what the money is going to be used for. I don't even think it happened with the last pitch for the healthy chocolate superfood. Duncan Bannatyne would be right in there checking their history and what they've done to date!

The only negatives i have is:

a. stop with the 'coming up' in our show - it's completely unnecessary, we don't need it! I like the element of surprise.

b. stop with the face to camera piece before they actually pitch. If i want to hear their thoughts i'd prefer to hear it after the pitch whether they win or lose. I don't need to know how they're feeling or what they're thinking beforehand.

c. it didn't happen tonight but i felt it could have if Peter had gone there and that's stop asking really personal questions. I don't want to know someone's life story and/or sob story, this isn't the bloody X-Factor!

d. A lot of pitchers seem to be 'characters' rather than ordinary people. The last guy was totally a character. Less of this please!

Other than that i'm really happy with the new series based on tonight's ep.

Haha, that was a picture, wasn't it

I thought he was alright last week, but I rapidly went off him this week, starting with his rant at the clothes shop man and his behaviour in the chocolate pitch.

Sarah seems quite good and so does Nick, although I'm not sure about his idea for foriegn phrases in the game. I liked how he said he wouldn't want to partner with Touka when Touka proposed he's have 6% to Nicks 4%.

I like that we are seeing more of the contestants reactions after the pitches and less of Evan creeping around the set. I intensely dislke the "still to come" stuff as it spoils what we are about to see. I notice there seems less of the "also in the den this week" stuff so fat this series.

Not a fan of Touka at all.

Loving Sarah and Nick though. Great pitches tonight in general too. However I did think the accent game in theory won't succeed. It'a quite dull.

The new dragons are better than Kelly and Piers. Both of those were awful and Kelly did
not remotely inspire confidence. Was she even in a position to claim great business knowledge
anyway?

The new ones are a mixed bag but all add something and the shake up feels like it has breathed
some new life into a show that seemed long finished.

And don't most large, flat screen TVs have their ports and sockets on the side, rather than the rear?

Open your minds, Dragons. Just think of the WAG market. And the coke business this is obviously a front for.

Was in the paper today that the woman with the Nigerian snacks business ended up pulling out of her deal with Peter. I guess a lot of the deals on screen end up falling through for whatever reason. I'm sure a lot of people will go on it mainly for the publicity.
