If Touker was in,, i would be out, its almost like he doesnt really want to invest, so he just takes the piss with his offers just to see what happens

There's something so unethical about Touca. I can't see him lasting for long.

She shot herself in the foot mentioning Touker was her preferred choice

I've noticed that too. Any offer he makes is usually with a completely unreasonable equity value.

What a stupid thing to say - and also she didn't do her homework on her preferred dragon.

I think sometimes they want exposure rather than an investment.

That woman doesn't know what she really wants, she has no idea of where she wants the company, the business was very good but she was the issue

Sounds like quite a good idea.

I think the biggest issue with this product is it will never replace the 1 on 1 consultation. Quite often the cut the person wants isn't possible with their hair style/type and the consultation results in changes. But if you turn up at Salon X expecting Cut Y.. you're going to be miffed if that's not possible.. because the whole point of going to that stylist is Cut Y.

I don't like these 3rd party companies, they always seem to be saying "We can't come up with anything of our own, and so we want to take a cut from others businesses".

It's basically and advertising site.

Some of the dragon's are clearly there for exposure only as well.

Yes or just to slag the company off and find fault with it so that they can get it for cheap.

Trying to reinvent the wheel imho.

They're comparing to Just Eat etc but those services are impersonal. A hair cut is very personal and I agree with the earlier comment.. people are loyal to their stylists. You find one you like and you stick with them. You'd use the site once and never again. In a way it would be the victim of it's own success in that respect.

Once they've selected a new hairdresser and like them, won't they book direct in the future, bypassing them. In fact they could do that the first time as well.

Yup exactly. I think for first time finding stylists it's not a bad idea but once they find a stylist and that stylist presumably does a good job.. you're going to contact them directly for the next few years you use that stylist.

Can I get off my chest how much tech companies who take a word and spell it differently really wind me up?
