I can't believe she turned down Sarah, she was the one for that.

When was the last time that happened, that no one in the den got an investment.

She didn't deserve investment, she was acting like she was offering them a favour rather than the other way about. She'd be a nightmare to work with.

You didn't hear her list of achievements then.

That last woman was an idiot, I wouldn't invest my time let alone cash on her.

Because she isn't stupid enough to give into their greed and cut a deal at any price.

More like she didn't really need the money she just wanted the exposure!!

So why go on the show then? Everyone knows they're not going to invest unless they know they're going to benefit.

The moment she said she didn't want to declare the figures of her other business because she was on TV it was obvious something wasn't right (probably because she knew HMRC were watching). Adding her stubborn attitude and turning down some decent offers (if she is so confident in doubling her profits then she would have no problem giving away 40% to later buy 20% back). She is an idiot and her attitude stunk.

That's what I was thinking, I think I've seen every episode, and the producers tended to leave it so the last pitch always received a deal.

To my recollection that is the first episode that there wasn't a deal. That is down to the producers obviously, they could have arranged it so a successful pitch from a previous episode was in this programme.

I agree with some earlier comments, I think she will kick herself for not accepting either Sarah or Peter's offer, but she already has a successful business so she wasn't under any financial pressure to accept. I'm sure now that it has been shown on TV it'll be appearing in Waitrose in the near future.

They were going to benefit. She went in offering 10% and was prepared to go as far as 25%. They wanted more. She wan't prepared to give them more. In business you don't do deals at any price or you get shafted.

Good on her i say, she didn't give in to the dragons greed as you said she was prepared to go to 25% which is more than double what she started at, Peter is just getting greedy nowadays.

Awful arrogant, trumpet-voiced toff and impossible to work with. Sarah in particular dodged a bullet there.

The new business may or may not work but Sarah had a good point about the names of the drinks - how do you distinguish them from the French names? Personally I'd add 'anglais' to the drink's French name eg 'Cassis Anglais'.

Perhaps there were other shareholders, so that if she "gave away" more than 25% she'd be left with such a small interest that it wouldn't be worth bothering about.

And IF that's the case, and IF the Dragons had found out, (which they would when they do the due diligence), you wouldn't have seen them for dust - as has happened before, IIRC

Anyway, PJ - Companies House, (or Uncle Google, come to that), wouldn't show a profit figure for her other business, unless it's a limited company. No chance if it's just a partnership

Not watched all of the series but certainly think the new dragons are far better than Hoppen and Linney were and have fitted in well. I'm a fan of Sarah, Toukar is entertaining and while Nick is my least favourite I still find him watchable and would happily have him back.

Feels like the show has a bit more life to it this series than the last few years- I've rather enjoyed it. I've even warmed to Evan's narration (even given him repeating exactly what we've seen/about to see constantly as ever and with it being even more pun heavy than ever).

For me the second best line-up of dragons I've seen on the show - the Bannatyne, Meaden, Farleigh, Paphitis, Jones is still the one I think worked best and has most of my all-time favourite Dragons but this current five work well together. Normally I feel the lines-up have at least one 'weak link' Dragon.

I have really enjoyed this series. Still not the same with no Duncan but the new Dragons are great and better than the previous new ones brought in.

Agree with a few comments please stop with the puns its just awful.

"A business powered by pedals, he's hoping a dragon will see the mileage in his idea and come along for the ride."

We get it. Please go away.

I am also very much enjoying this line-up. They're quite bubbly and engaging. The last two were so downbeat all the time. Very watchable series in the wake of some calls to end it when the latest dragon shake up was announced.

Wouldn't want to lose D or P, mind.
