I suppose it is....but this a TV show where they're supposed to "selling their expertise" in exchange for a part of the business

That Coffee thing might not have been all that much but to dismiss it out of hand because they'd "need help" infuriated me.
Well yes, they want to get their finger in the pie with the least work from them and so see a start-up company as too much work. Basically they are after a income for little work.

Well yes, they want to get their finger in the pie with the least work from them and so see a start-up company as too much work. Basically they are after a income for little work.
The only work they seem to like is...."putting them in touch with contacts" which is useful....but they want the finished product

Yeah,, ive noticed its got worse over the years, sometimes when you get idiots then sometimes they need telling, but i don't see what this guy has done wrong

Yes! A large slice of their company with nothing more than a "contact my secretary for a list of numbers you can phone".
