Yep she over valued her hand it seems. I think she assumed because she had existing business interests he'd naturally pick her and fancied the whole deal for herself. Perfectly acceptable for her to do that of course. All's fair in the Den. I wonder if Peter will be so willing to split with her next time.

The pre-boiled egg concept is a good one.

They sell them in 7-11 stores through out Japan, Ive bought them. They must sell loads as they always sell out. But the eggs are much better quality than UK eggs.

I don't care what Peter does.. no one thinks "I'm off on a train journey today. I best cook some boiled eggs to take with me." but I bet plenty of people will think "Ohh boiled eggs" when in WH Smith or whatever shop is at the station.
Didn't see this last night but the Co op sells little packs of boiled eggs with a portion of Mayo - was this any different?

The garish colouring would be very off-putting to many people, I think. The dye just makes what is a healthy, natural snack look unnatural.

That Nick is such a rude dick. I wouldn't invest with him if my life depended on it. He was almost rolling his eyes when Sarah was talking to the glass busters guys.

I can't imagine who would have Nick paid millions for that ghastly Moonpig dot com business. I thought the cards looked rubbish, the logo stupid and always turned down the volume when the silly music came on (like go compare arrgghh).

I'm not sure I would want to invest with any of them. They are all poncey, arrogant gits, though the show is obviously heavily manufactured.

I don't like him at all, he irritates me
Glad it's not just me either. He presses all my wrong buttons (and would probably want 51 % of the business for doing so)

Can't stand the way;
1) He gurns overdramatically every time one of the presenters does something slightly unusual. (He looked like somebody was pointing a gun at him when the guy with a chicken came in)
2) Disses the other Dragons directly (I don't like Deborah, but nor would I want Touker boring me to death on a long flight)
3) Bangs on incessantly about his success and his offshoring contacts, like somebody who's trying to impress someone on a speed-date, and might just be making it all up...

But that's just me... Probably...

It's OK, he has a gadget to turn that into power to charge a phone.
Did I miss it, or did they not interrogate on who owns the patent, etc...

I now its only a TV show, but its wither nicely seeded or edited for some inventors and not for others who get absolutely grilled.

Oh, and I'm still disappointed eggxactly never made it to market too!

He's my favourite Dragon. But I'm clearly in a minority here.

In an article I saw about that nice Russian lady the other week (selling the kefir), she said the questioning took 90 minutes! So there must be loads we don't see.

Still, I didn't get the gas burner stroke phone charger. Do you have to have the gas burning for a couple of hours while charging your phone? It sounds incredibly wasteful. And when you need to cook dinner, the gas bottle will empty!

Anyone camping with a £150 stove of that size, will have a car nearby, which will have a 12V or even a dedicated USB charging socket already built-in. To say nothing of most civilised campsites having mains power anyway!

Just caught up with latest episode.. 3 investments in one show... Doesnt happen very often... Touka offers nothing in terms of expertise... or if he does, he doesnt seem to sell it very well.

Nick is growing on me this series... Doesnt try to rip off the entrepreneurs and is willing to put his money where his mouth is... Am amazed that Sarah has managed to make millions!

I also, dislike Peter. He's greedy and wants to exploit the contestants not help / invest in them.

I am not sure what they sell in Co-op but I think those might be the "almost" cooked eggs where you still have some preparation left. These are ready to eat and come with different flavour sachets (which I don't remember hearing on the show). Are the ones in Co-op definitely ready to eat straight away? I couldn't find the product after a quick search.

The garish colouring would be very off-putting to many people, I think. The dye just makes what is a healthy, natural snack look unnatural.
I also do not like the colouring and think it would be better to use white coloured coating or translucent if possible. Then they could still look at least relatively natural and some leaking of the dye would not be such an issue.

You can get their eggs from Ocado.

Also I noticed that on their website they specifically mention "gluten free". I wonder if that is due to Nick or was always there and he just thought he was being smart.

I was waiting to hear about the patent too. I guess they probably skipped much of the typical stuff to fit in the dragon wars stuff but I was interested to know if he did indeed have the patent which would surely make a big difference.

Ah the egg toaster with the prototype that didn't work. An all time classic. I was never convinced by the idea but hoped it would take off as the guy was great.
