The pre-boiled egg concept is a good one.
They sell them in 7-11 stores through out Japan, Ive bought them. They must sell loads as they always sell out. But the eggs are much better quality than UK eggs. |

I don't care what Peter does.. no one thinks "I'm off on a train journey today. I best cook some boiled eggs to take with me." but I bet plenty of people will think "Ohh boiled eggs" when in WH Smith or whatever shop is at the station.

That Nick is such a rude dick. I wouldn't invest with him if my life depended on it. He was almost rolling his eyes when Sarah was talking to the glass busters guys.

Can't stand the way; 1) He gurns overdramatically every time one of the presenters does something slightly unusual. (He looked like somebody was pointing a gun at him when the guy with a chicken came in) 2) Disses the other Dragons directly (I don't like Deborah, but nor would I want Touker boring me to death on a long flight) 3) Bangs on incessantly about his success and his offshoring contacts, like somebody who's trying to impress someone on a speed-date, and might just be making it all up... But that's just me... Probably... |

It's OK, he has a gadget to turn that into power to charge a phone.
I now its only a TV show, but its wither nicely seeded or edited for some inventors and not for others who get absolutely grilled. Oh, and I'm still disappointed eggxactly never made it to market too! |

Glad it's not just me either. He presses all my wrong buttons (and would probably want 51 % of the business for doing so)

Did I miss it, or did they not interrogate on who owns the patent, etc...
Still, I didn't get the gas burner stroke phone charger. Do you have to have the gas burning for a couple of hours while charging your phone? It sounds incredibly wasteful. And when you need to cook dinner, the gas bottle will empty! Anyone camping with a £150 stove of that size, will have a car nearby, which will have a 12V or even a dedicated USB charging socket already built-in. To say nothing of most civilised campsites having mains power anyway! |

Just caught up with latest episode.. 3 investments in one show... Doesnt happen very often... Touka offers nothing in terms of expertise... or if he does, he doesnt seem to sell it very well.
Nick is growing on me this series... Doesnt try to rip off the entrepreneurs and is willing to put his money where his mouth is... Am amazed that Sarah has managed to make millions! |

Didn't see this last night but the Co op sells little packs of boiled eggs with a portion of Mayo - was this any different?

The garish colouring would be very off-putting to many people, I think. The dye just makes what is a healthy, natural snack look unnatural.
You can get their eggs from Ocado. http://www.thegrocer.co.uk/buying-an...527624.article https://www.ocado.com/webshop/getSea...ckin%27+egg+co. Also I noticed that on their website they specifically mention "gluten free". I wonder if that is due to Nick or was always there and he just thought he was being smart. http://crackineggco.co.uk/ Quote:

Oh, and I'm still disappointed eggxactly never made it to market too! Ah the egg toaster with the prototype that didn't work. An all time classic. I was never convinced by the idea but hoped it would take off as the guy was great.

I'm not sure I would want to invest with any of them. They are all poncey, arrogant gits, though the show is obviously heavily manufactured.
