Was that the end of the series?

Yawnfest.

Anyway, if and when the series comes back I hope Touker is nowhere to be seen. He's my least favourite Dragon ever. Nick is fine although I wouldn't miss him. Sarah should stay.

Any Touker time is far too much time.
I hope they all come back. They are investing far more than previous Dragons. Nick and Touker have really freshened things up on the show.

Sarah is such a waste of space! Really doesn't like to invest, especially to bid alone, see,s to bring very little nous.

This series has been 15 episodes long, split into a couple of runs.

Anyone else get the feeling they shown every pitch in full to make more episodes for this series? They used to have clips of failed pitches shown in sequences in previous series, but haven't in this one.

Nick Jenkins has fast become one of my favourite Dragon in this series. He seems a likeable, ordinary, trustworthy, down to earth guy.

This Sunday it's 'Dragons' Den: Pitches to Riches' where Richard Osman presents the most extraordinery moments from Dragons' Den. I'm pretty sure Deborah tweeted that there's a series of 'What Happened next' coming in April too!

Been many previous Dragons who hardly invest though.

Wow.. What a boring final episode. And we had to wait 2/3 weeks for it? Honestly that probably was the dullest episode of the series.

I don't think there has been much Touker time taken either.

I had high hopes for Sarah at the start of the series, but she is so meek and indecisive to the point of frustration, the last pitch on Sunday was pretty low risk (cost wise) and something she has experience within the industry but she let it slip away.

I liked Deborah subtly slating the other dragons when accepting the offer.

I must be in the rare minority who like Touker, I think he's quite fresh and provides a different approach to the others, Nick too seems pretty down to earth to me.

I agree with all this. I really like Touker, for me Nick and Sarah (definitely Sarah) are disposable and don't really bring anything. Nicks not as bad but Sarah is always just there. Every time she speaks I know it's going to lead to 'I'm out'. She's not business savvy enough. She gotta GO.

Fully agree! Was bizarre to wait that long and then it was a really weak one.

I enjoyed the new dragons - I agree with some of the above that Sarah is the weaker one - but I'd still keep her. I really like Nick and Touker though. Better than the ones we had last series!

Here's some 'inside info' from the series just finished and I'm not going to tell you which pitch it was so please don't ask.

Nick invested in a business and has been very pro-active. The business is doing very well now and it has panned out brilliantly.

Thanks for that link.

Haven't gone through them all yet, but at a quick glance it looks like around 25% of 'deals' don't end up going through.

But the majority of times we don't find out (well, not on the programme, anyway)

If they didn't show the 'deals' that didn't go through, it would be a much shorter series!

Having used the filter system I see over half of Theo's 'investments' didn't actually go through.

Not always his fault, as I think sometimes people 'use' the Dragons Den to get publicity, and then decline the funding.

But, of those he did invest in, a fair number seem to no longer be trading.

Knowing half the 'investments' don't actually take place has somewhat taken the gloss off things for me.

I've missed DD for a few series and returned to watch this one. I don't get the stopping and starting if it's supposed to be on weekly? Way to confuse people!

Some of the investments these days just seem totally 'huh' moments!

The mother getting £35k for a glorified car boot stall was bonkers, she does also realize that items can be listed on Fleabay and offer a 'collection' delivery option right?

It also seems as if many of the pitches are set up by the BBC these past few series rather than people applying. I miss the days of pitches such as Eggxactly!

I know the guys behind the raw chocolate company, they didn't need the money at all and are already in every healthy food store in the uk and have been for almost a decade. They were approached to appear in it.

The BBC do admit they may approach people when you click on the Apply section of their website.

Just from that last one episode -
the Headphones guy was asked -

the ice cream guys got asked three times -

Very interesting.
Thank you.

Here's another one which also casts extra light on DD.

http://startups.co.uk/my-dragons-den...-on-the-telly/

This surprised me about the Dragon's time commitments.
I'm surprised they take that amount of 'time out' from their other work.

''And given we – and the Dragons – were there from 8am to 6pm at night, with the Dragons filming four or five pitches a day for three or four weeks, there’s a good deal of time and effort put into the show.''

Salted Caramel is just another trendy fad, pretentious rubbish
Just bought a tub of it.....extremely nice flavour BUT !!!!

Horrible aftertaste......it now feels like I'm sucking on a piece of aluminium foil and can't spit it out

I couldn't agree more, I found each episode in this series to be quite dull, yet again, that might be because I have just started to watch their rival USA show, Shark Tank, much more entertaining.

Just to remind you all that 'Dragons' Den: Pitches to Riches' is on tonight - which may or may not be included in your series link if you have been recording DD.
