Is anyone here tonight? I know it's just a best of thing so I'm wondering if we're going to post tonight.
Tonight is Churchill night.

Sorry I was just reading the earlier links. Thank you. This is odd. It's just rehashing what we've already seen.

Has Richard Osman taken over from Evan?
Just for tonight I think. Apparently he's an obsessive fan.

Deborah has terrible dress sense. Why is she wearing a long sleeved blouse underneath a short sleeved dress. It looks awful.

Watching now and Richard's pronunciation of the word 'entrepeneur' is doing my head in.

He actually seems to have no grasp of basic pronunciation of a lot of languages on Pointless. Not everyone has an aptitude I guess but with everyday words like entrepreneur, and especially presenting a Dragons' Den retrospective, you'd think someone might've pulled him up on it.

Thought it rich (!) that the den's most famous entrepreneur told the Korean sauce couple to be themselves, yet he had changed his name from Keith Graham to Levi Roots!

That's a very good point.

He managed to make entrepreneur rhyme with manure.........and I bet that's a first.

I also thought it was daft he told them it the product wasn't important as it was all about the people. Don't think they will get very far if their product is rubbish however nice / interesting they are.

I was thinking the same (and his pronunciation was annoying me too). Maybe it is a special way of describing the quality of "entrepreneur" that you get on DD.

Did you notice the end bit with Peter Jones had the sign for the restaurant right in the middle of the screen, but it was blurred out? They must have tried to get some free advertising but the BBC folk remembered they are not supposed to do that.

Not if you watch Kath and Kim, where they constantly use mispronunciation and malapropisms for comedic effect.

Yes, very strange, and annoying.

True, although Mr Graham has built a brand around "Levi Roots", so he is right to some extent. The image is key as well as the product. I've tasted his sauce though and wasn't impressed, but I'm obviously in a minority!

New series tonight, just to add to the annoyance of Evan Davies poking his nose in every millisecond there is now a 'reaction room' where they're watching the pitch!!!

See below for example

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p041wfx5

I do wish they would stop messing with it every series!

This begins to look like dumbing down for the US market.... who cares about folks outside commenting. Very disappointing; the hangers on should either be in the pitch or out of sight/sound.

Think I'm now bored of this show.

What happened to the days when they came in with a great idea and the dragons helped make it happened.

You now need to go in with a profit making business, with an existing customer base where the dragons just invest to inflate their own egos.

I'm out.

If they didn't get an offer from Sarah, they'd have refused the ones from the others by the looks of it, as they wanted her, was terrible that.

Its a question of Scale!
