Short pencils for children..........or just buy normal pencils and cut them in half for twice as many for your money

Within reason, a standard pen of pencil is longer than an adult hand so what does it matter if it's a little longer with a 5 year old?

That sort of thinking could make you money. Not a lot of common sense in these businesses.

It's £3.99 for a pack of pencils...have they been in the pound shop recently?!

Well his argument is the normal sized pen or pencil has been designed to suit an adult hand in terms of ability to write with it. But I'd argue they were only ever that length because of having to store ink or lead in them. So they wanted to give it some life.

I think the argument they're that length because it's perfect to write with is a myth. I don't struggle to write with the stubby pens in a betting shop for example.

That man was deluded thinking that short pencils were going to change schooling landscapes. It was funny to see it, it seemed a comical pitch.

Christ, they need to remove the "Reaction Room" you can tell it is going to be bad. It is Dragons Den, not the X factor.

Oh gawd the kids watching the pitch thing is cringe worthy.. when you consider all the editing is done afterwards. It's as fake as the lift.

It's a brush. They've re-invented the brush.

There is no way they have a trademark on a brush that holds water and releases it via the brush. I've used one before to clean a bathroom. You'd put soapy water in it.

In fact I'm baffled as to why the patent discussion hasn't happened.

This will be one of those deals where there's handshakes on the tv and you'll never hear of it again.

Be interesting to see what percentage of deals actually go through on this once due diligence has been done.
