Didn't think anyone was going to invest in the i[talk]cafe, but seeing the website, it does look good.
Any website that relies on games on its site for content is a sure fire no no for me....

Also, their about us page mentions watch out for our new stores in 2011.... hmmm.... kept up to date then !

Did I mis-hear or did that last guy (who Theo invested with) say he owned and developed and sold Net Flix?

If so, not suprised at Theo's decision.
He said Web Flix

Farleigh was ditched because it concerned the BBC the panel was too white, according to Farleigh himself.
And too nice.

Yes, old Charlie Farley, as we called him, came across as three-quarter human.

The rest, not so nice. As a journalist once said, the show should be renamed 'Bastards Hole.'

Can't believe he sold his house
Indeed. Completely delusional.

I'm a clean living fellow, and I can't understand where there market is for these 'intimate' wipes. I mean, what on earth are his prospective customers up to that they need to keep wiping their bits? Most of us manage to be fresh and hygienic with regular showers!

I really don't like watching this anymore. It seem to get nastier as each new series (and episode) airs.

It's really uncomfortable viewing

That was a great episode but for all the wrong reasons! Still, made for excellent viewing.

1% bloke was clearly delusional. He pissed the dragons off and i was glad when they all tore into him. He deserved it!

The iCafe is literally down the road from me, a 5min walk away. I've never been inside nor am i inclined to but i thought the guy was totally naive. Every single point Peter made was correct and valid but accepting investment from Duncan for 49% of the business imo was crazy. However it's probably the only investment Duncan will make throughout this series i think.

The Fellas bloke with the wet wipes was living in cloud cuckooland. Crazy that he sold his house for the business but glad everyone told him to stop the business immediately.

The guy with the Zapper website or whatever it was called i think was lucky to get investment from Theo. The dragons had every right to question why they were investing more money for less percentage of the business. Music Magpie already exists so not sure what he can offer but still think he was very lucky to get a dragon on board.

Perhaps those previous investments were made when in early stages of the business when it wouldn't have been worth as much.

Exactly. You could probably have bought 10% of Facebook for a few thousand when it just started out.

I love Hilary . Maybe I just like the contrast she gives to the rest of them because she has a northern chain smokers voice .

But no coincidence that its Halloween and she isn't on.

What was he thinking!

What's wrong with putting on old clothes and just cleaning it with a brush like everyone else does?

Mr Sausage - another example of a dragon merely buying a big enough share in a thriving company that it's a safe bet they will be making 33-49% of the profits in 2-3 years, then probably get a nice regular payout as a sleeping partner after that. In return for an injection of cash the company might have been wiser going to a bank for. That is unless Peter Jones has the special knowledge on how to make your sausages sell like buggery.

Another thing, say a Dragon offers £100k for 50% of the business - they are immediately getting half their cash back right? In the form of shares, sure, worthless if the company goes bust. But still.

Anyway, too few crazy inventions and good ideas this series and too much laughing at people who want the moon on a stick for their daft idea, and too much investing in a dull business that is ticking over and fancies selling off 40% of the shares for the product to appear on TV, a big cash injection and whatever dubious help a dragon might be able to provide (something they ask about less and less).
