Is the US version available to watch anywhere in the UK?

There are rumours it's going to be Michelle Mone, the Ultimo bra woman. Not sure how true the rumours are though
If it is, the bundle of notes on her little table will be in perfect numerical order, and each bundle will be specifically spaced and ever so neat. Apparently, she drives her office staff mad with her OCD

I've looked but can't find anyone talking about this: Hilary wears the same strange clothes, same bizarre hair and makeup, on every episode. was Dragon's Den filmed all in a single day? That's the only explanation I can think of.

I think it's all different days (it would be a very long day otherwise).

But they like to mix and match pitches between episodes, so for continuity purposes, they all have to wear the same outfit throughout the series.

I'm pretty sure that's what was said somewhere (probably earlier in this thread!)

I can't imagine MM saying "You'd make my foot itch, mate!" like Hilary

The rest all wear the same, you just don't notice because its pretty sedate and standard for business. I do think Hilary's presence will be missed a lot next year.

Why don't they take some of the money they have on the table to buy another outfit?

I bet one of them owns part of a clothing company

Its for continuity purposes so that they can edit all the pitches in the order that they want.

If every day they filmed they were all in different clothes it would look odd when they edited it all together.

Are we not having a follow-up program on the investments made this year? I recall we had one last year, right?

Maybe most have fell through?

I do agree though, the follow up show was always pretty enjoyable

Ah thanks! I wondered why they was absolutely no HD showing of it anywhere.

Timely bump of this thread as Theo's replacement has been announced as Piers Linney.

I don't know him but then i've never known any of the other new dragons either! I can see him going into a lot of joint bids with PJ for technology based companies.

I think with Theo he felt he'd invested in enough businesses and there's only so many you can keep an eye on at one time.

Very disappointing to have Theo leave, he (along with maybe Peter) was always the one who seemed that much more unpredictable. Duncan hardly ever invests (everything else was 'ludicrous' or 'ridiculous'), Deborah's only interested if it's a risk free, dead cert and Hilary was only bothered if it was logistics. It was all getting a bit stale, hopefully the new dragons will liven it up? A new presenter (without the predictable "has Peter spotted something the other dragons haven't?" interruptions might help, too.

Duncan invests quite a lot. It's a myth that he doesn't.

The thing with Dragons Den is they seem unwilling to take a risk anymore. They want a large share of the profits, but seem reluctant to take risks. If it hasn't got it's patent their not interested, if it's easy to be copied, not interested, if there's something similar, again not interested, they obviously have never heard of Pepsi, or GM Cars, these companies seem to exist pretty well in the same markets as others.
