Does anyone know if they film ALL the episodes in one series in one day? The reason I'm asking is because Hilary Devey always has the same clothes on each week. Deborah Meaden and the others may, too, but I just notice the silly costumes that Devey wears.

this guy is deluded, i can send a 30kilo bag/parcel via UPs to most of the UK for £9.99, £4 more for next day delivery!
Did some pricing for places like Greece etc and he is around £20 more expensive each time. Add to that they take 3-5 days so if you were using it for excess baggage you'd need to send it in advance, which is inconvenient. Not sure why Hilary Devey was having a go at him though about how he is going to track parcels with the couriers. I guess she's never heard of an API. |

Not a fan of the new set, however what really annoyed me was the stupid camera that did not just focus on something. In 60 seconds during one of the pictches the camers chanced focus 9 times. I also do not know why they felt the need to keep zooming in and out. While i like DUncan not really interested in seeing the side of his face when somebody it pitching and he is saying/doing nothing.

They could reduce the show to 30 minutes if they got rid of the 'But Peter Jones looks bemused!' Evan Davies commentary track!

Can some business expert explain the following:
Debra asks for 20% but with the rights of a 25% shareholder (if I understand that correctly) Peter asks for 30% but then says he'll drop to 20% when he's got his money back Theo asks for 25% I may be completely missing something or just not have a very good business brain but why would you choose Peter or Theo? I know you would sacrifice the extra equity if either of those dragons were particularly knowledgable or have contacts specifically relating to your business but this wasn't made clear. I dismissed Peter immediately but that's who they went for and I wasn't sure why. It would be good if this was explained. |

As for Debra asking for 20% but with the rights of a 25% shareholder, I think she just wanted 20% equity but an equal vote as any of the rest. If she only had a 20% vote, she would never get a say in the business and would get outvoted. I think! |

So maybe they just didn't like Meaden, and sacrified 5% (1.7% each) to avoid dealing with her. (I don't like her either.) I wasn't sure exactly what the product was, it looked vaguely technical, if so then that's Peter's expertise. (And if it was only coloured headphones, what would a group of guys be involved in something like that?) |

Same old Dragons Den.
Bookend the "show" with investments at either end fill the rest with "Dragons" shouting at idiots. Used to be a good show but it's lost it's way. Too predictable. We're a pathetic nation of losers if this the extent of our entrepreneurial acumen. |

I just didnt get the 3 lads who were selling stuff that you can find in any pound shop/street market.
That market is already saturated, I mean a phone cover thats designed as a Union Jack, How orignal...Not. |

Hate to say it but I fear this show has seen it's better days.
![]() And Hilary's investment with B, I'm guessing, is going to be BIG. |

I think they chose Peter as they knew he would have the connections, and also the knowledge of the telecommunications industry, which is what they are pretty much in. They were mostly selling phone covers/headphones where are all great phone accessories. So Peter was the logical choice for them, even if his deal maybe wasnt the best. He hinted at that during the negotiation, that he would be the logical and best choice over the others due to his current business.

Well I thought it was a big mistake to indulge the dreamy woman who was on first with an investment. I'd have asked her what level of profit she had declared on her tax return. This would probably have resulted in another blank stare and a 'uhhm a uhhm' type response.

I caught this the other night and, for the first time ever, the show had me in stitches for about 10 minutes.
![]() It was when those three guys were in the Den, and the third kept miming as the other two spoke. The puzzled looks on the Dragons' faces really tickled me, and then when Peter brought it up with him, I lost it.

But it is good when they have a choice. |

loads of phone covers are sold on amazon and ebay nowadays, I dont suppose their products can actually compete with the prices online.

They could never do a whole series in 1 day. You have however many episodes in a series, all lasting around 1hr, you don't see all the pitches, those you do see aren't the full pitches, plus there's the time spent doing hair, make up, eating, drinking, taking things in and out of the den, so it'd take far too much time.
