DD is turning into a bit of a comedy show now, isn't it. Still it's probably past its sell by date and so needs another string to its bow.to breath a bit of life the dying embers.

Wow how too pad out an episode, what was with the Duncan show reel!! That Nappy business was flawed, how are they collected I assume by some bloke in a van, but what happens when you only have one customer in an area?, and there's only one recycling centre for the Nappies so they have to be centrally collected then sent to the recycling place. They will be bust within a year.
Didn't we have a young guy on before with the the cover for the rotary line? he got an investment if I remember, his was opaque so the sun could shine through, this guys was a tent, so even if the sun was shining how are the clothes going to dry? The mat was a stupid idea, they have to carry their water, towels anyway, it's not as if they have nothing to carry, so what's the hardship in taking a mat, and it would be a pain to carefully roll back every time! The Jerkey was good, I'm actually an investor in "Brewdog" the brewery chain that have taken his product, they're the fastest growing brewery and bar chain in the UK at the moment. |

His comment regarding one company having 85% of the market made no sence at all.
Maybe I misheard it but he seemed to imply that they could only go for the remaining 15%. Surely the point of a new brand is to try and take some of the competitors market, not just take what's left. |

I am having a bit of trouble getting into the new Dragons.Piers seems like a nice guy but a bit of a smartass, and Kelly has no emotion or charisma whatsoever. She is like a goddam cyborg.Although it's pretty amazing that she is the same age as Debra.I would have thought she was ten years younger.I'm sure I'll get used to them in the next few shows though.
But the show is pretty much as always. It's still a good laugh and Duncan must love being the ultimate bad guy. I expect that we will be seeing cultural highlight reels from Peter Jones and Debra in the coming weeks just like Duncan's this week. |

I've always wanted to like beef jerky/biltong - but all the ones I've tried have been like chewing shoe leather. Maybe this one was actually chompable?
Did I hear the rhinestone cowboy correctly at the begining when he said one bar stocked it as their only barsnack? Seems a tad unlikely especially considering veggies wont even try it. |

35 units, you say? Hmm.............
The market is saturated at the low, middle and high end on this one. Quote:
I have one of those washing line covers from Homebase..or somewhere like that!

They're not interested in the product she came in with. They just want a share of the fitness business. Should that be allowed in the rules?
![]() Not sure about the mat, probably great for the few that would ever buy it, but that wouldn't be many. I felt like she had been taken to the cleaners tbh, taking 40% of her entire business, I hope this one falls through for her and she gets benefits just from the publicity. Duncan was never going to be impressed with someone competing with his gyms! Quote:
'Climate Change Manager'. FFS...............
for more details of the products they were making with the stuff, how much did they sell for, did people actually buy them, were they any good? I think they were bullied by the dragons but don't think the business is a goer, nappy hire would be better for the environment and has been done before. Quote:
£4,000 a month?! Jesus.

Maybe I misheard it but he seemed to imply that they could only go for the remaining 15%. I liked the guy, he was an entertainer, he's clearly been trying all his life to make it and is still going, good luck to him but I doubt Beef Jerky will take off much in the UK. |

So you buy a exercise mat to avoid touching dog poo in the park. If you've no longer got dog poo on your hands then you've probably got it on the exercise mat which you've just wrapped around your waist

I thought this weeks episode was much better than last weeks. Don't think much of the new bloke though. Still think that Australian chap that was on a few years ago is sadly missed tbh.

Why do you say that?
First episode, he is trying to secure an investment and he is the one that has to pitch himself to be chosen. To the question, what would you bring to the table his answer was: "youth!... But well, this second episode he has more to offer. To the jerky guy: "eh eh energy! I can dress up as cowboy and walk down the street to create brand awareness." . Great expertise, contacts and experience that is. Peter got himself a good investment, I can see that working. I find the new posh lady very attractive indeed, she´s definitely got it. I don´t mind her at all. |
