Dragons Den has lost some of its sharpness the Dragons at one point would never have been swayed by a sob story and they rarely use to wish the entrepreneurs luck when they declared themselves out which they nearly always do now even if the pitch doesn't deserve it.

Piers was chomping at the bit to invest in her when she started then he pulled out when the others weren't interested. They are so predictable.

Maybe there needs to be less episodes per series so we get more than 1 investment per show? The dragons can't help it if 90% of the products they get are crap, but it does get boring that we only get 1 successful pitch an episode.
There's only 6 episodes this series I think? One of the recent series had about 12-15 episodes iirc?

I've noticed that Kelly Hoppen has been wearing the same clothes in each episode so perhaps these were all filmed over two consecutive days?

Anyway, I feel like the show has really lost some of its appeal now. The two new dragons are rubbish in comparison to Theo and Hilary, far too tame, and the dynamic has been spoiled.

Yeah its last one next week, been poor tbh, not liking that Piers at all, Theo should have stayed, and i only like Duncan, as he sometimes has arguments with the other Dragons, and puts some of the people down and slate their products

I was wrong, I was assuming that the producers had followed the format of many shows past and saved the investment till the end.

Obviously they didn't get enough investments this series and had to have a show with no investment, or no decent 'show ender' investment.

The new Dragons just aren't investing are they!

I'm cool with no investment

It's silly if the dragons invest a lot (or are forced to) because you know the dragons won't be able to devote much time to the investment

I liked the de-icer woman, even if I didn't rate her product. I always feel bad for them when they've put a lot of effort in and the dragons cut them apart

Check out the US version of the show, it's called Shark Tank. Far more entertaining than this series has been so far. Absolutely huge investments too.

No, that was American Inventor.
The ball headed bloke on Shark Tank can be very harsh.

They all wear the same clothes to make it easier to edit the programme together. I am sure the dragons would only give up a few days of their time though.

Get a small cheap plastic atomiser from Boots and pour some anti freeze in it...problem solved.
No, no no. Antifreeze is base on Ethylene Glycol and IS toxic and damaging to car paintwork. Screenwash and other windscreen de-icers do not contain Ethylene Glycol but rather Alcohols from Ethyl Alcohols upwards in the Aliphatic alcohol series, such as Isopropy Alcohol etc. These are relatively harmless and are volatile.

Believe me. I am a Chemist.

In one of the behind the scenes episodes they showed the dragons have a wardrobe of clothes on set so I guess they buy a couple of everything for them to wear during filming.

I don't think Kelly is too bad really.. Piers however is a waste of a chair.

A good line up would have been: Peter, Theo, Deborah, Kelly, Duncan, Richard Farleigh. Six dragons.
