If you're desperate to place an order it seem the Framing web site is working again now
Still seems ridiculous that you can only have one design and one size. The only thing you can change is the colour.

They refused Peters offer, must be mad. Who would want an ugly frame like that, especially in "Square" format. Dont most smart phones have a mini SD card just take it in to ASDA (or anywhere) print your own & buy any frame. Or online.
To be fair this was intended to be a gift. Not the same as printing and framing your own photo. That doesn't excuse the ugliness of the frame design.

I wasn't surprised they turned down Peter's job offer. They want to be entrepreneurs not employees with no control over the product. They'll most likely lose financially but while there's a chance they'll "role the dice".

£9.99 must be losing money at that price.

Starting at half past an hour (rather than the usual 8pm/9pm start) is annoying too.
It's on a 8pm next week, it was half an hour later this week because of the Grand Prix.

Classic Dragons' Den error. Demonstrate a website

http://frameagain.com/

...and it gives a "Error establishing a database connection"

Anyway, Photobox do it now: http://www.photobox.co.uk/shop/prints/framed-prints and any other online print shop could do it quickly.
I see Frame Again have reduced their price to £9.99. Still cheaper at Photobox though. The Frame Again website looks nice, but it should be easier to find important information like delivery charges and I think the crowd funding thing on the homepage will put a lot of customers off - who wants to pay a company money for a product if it appears like they're skint.

Good to see they are still going. But I think the idea is pretty flaky. They have one product that is easily copyable. The only advantage is the price. And that's a risky place to be.

I think the framing thing is a pretty simple idea.

A couple of more frame choices and more importantly - an app so people can pick a photo straight from their phone and order without having to visit the site would make it a decent offering.

I took a photo of my parents when they visited this weekend, it would have been nice to user a service like that to order a framed photo and have it on their doorstep when they arrived home.

However, there is nothing stopping the likes of Jessops and others to create their own product, much bigger, more options and already have the 'brand value'. For someone like Peter Jones, he could easily broker a deal with the likes of Instragram to have his product advertised next to people's photos and/or have it appear as an option for that photo, a couple of clicks and the order has been made.

Its a great idea but they should have taken Peter's offer.

Photobox already do it

I've never used them for frames but I have ordered poster prints, collages and other photo gifts from them and have always had a good service

Didn't watch this last night - seems to be only one pitch being discussed - was that all that was on it? Some sort of radical departure if it was

The picture framing 'business' was sh**.

And they were mad to refuse Peter Jones' offer because their 'business was going straight down the toilet pan.

Peter said Jessop's photo framing idea wasn't as good as theirs which makes me wonder just how awful Jessop's one was?? Surely whoever does his web design/ideas will be crying after hearing him say that?

What did people think of those shoes?

I know it's irrevelant, but hair and make-up have done a terrible job this series. The Dragons look mostly terrible.

Really didn't like the design of the photo things. There was only one design - and a plain one at that. A very poor decision to go on Dragons' Den.

Didn't like the shoes, not a fan of any product the encourages children to draw on things that their not meant to! How long will it be before dad arrives home to find his brand new £150 Nikes with scribbles all over them.

Framing guys were mad, they should of accepted the offer, then looked into more, to see what Peter was offering, just because they agree in the den, doesn't make it "binding" and they can pull out at any time, before contracts are signed.

I love how when the "Dragons's" blood is up they don't bother to "drill down" on the actual money side of the business, they just sat there and took everything the dancing guy was saying as "gospel", even to the point of allowing him to back track on his club idea. And they just accepted it.

Den Victim: "This is my new product...I've spend 20 years designing it"

Dragons: "We don't like it"

Den victim: "Alright, I'll scrap it and do something else instead"

Dragons: "Mmm...we're interested. Tell us more"

^^ yep, surprised Deborah didn't proclaim to be an industry expert on dancing, after her little stint on whatever dance programe she did.

Can't stand Kelly, she basically said the radiator covers were crap (didn't think they warranted that) and we're supposed to take her word as fact, she's the same sort of person who thought "an unmade bed" was worth 2.5 million. So thank you I'll take her views with a pinch of salt.

I like how we now need a 'coming up this week on Dragon's Den'! As if Evan repeating what we just heard 0.01 milliseconds ago wasn't bad enough!

The new music is also crap and really doesn't suit the show at all! Made even worse by the fact they seem to randomly switch between the new music and the old music!

There was also an obvious edit where Deborah had to redo a bit of her speech during one of the pitches!

I thought she did. Didn't she whisper something like that to one of the other Dragons after the pitch had finished.

I also thought the photo frame idea was a weak one. Despite that, it was the only pitch that held my interest even when watching the episode for the 2nd time!

Are there no other dragon wannabes about to freshen up the show?

I thought this episode was pretty boring for a 1st episode of a series but maybe it's just getting a bit stale, shame there was no change to the dragon line up, the current line up is one of the weakest of any series imo

Michelle Mone has expressed interest in joining the show. Could be interesting to see the dynamic between her and Deborah.

If she came she could replace Kelly, who I don't warm to at all.

I agree with the member who thought the guys with the photo-frames should have accepted Peter's offer, so that they could at least had a serious look at it. I don't see how they can make a go of it on their own, especially as reading above they have had to reduce the price of their product already. I assume they have managed to cut the manufacturing cost from £8 to £4 as otherwise, with postage, they would be making a loss selling at £10.

I saw this on Sunday and weren't very impressed by it. Piers isn't very impressive and I really miss Theo and his Mrs P references all the time
