It does have the feel of being on it's last legs. DB is not returning after this series. The two newest dragons have zero personality. I think it's had it's day.

Still think the dragons would have opened more doors and grown the business quicker, so I still think she made a mistake.”

I'd agree that you really want the Dragons for their contacts - Peter's offer seemed high at 40% of the business but its better to have 40% of a healthy business than all of a failed business. If there really is a market for marshmallows at a pound a pop then I'm sure all the big boys will pile in fast, she needs to move quickly to keep market share.
I wonder when someone will mass market decent nougat like you get around the Med? Delicious almond and honey nougat in Spain and Greece is only about €1 a bar whilst over here you struggle to find anything other than that nasty pink&white stuff

So maybe Evan Davis' pointless filler commentary gets cut out too? Sign me up for the overseas versions.

I can't believe the BBC really thinks the audience needs to be spoon-fed so explicitly with the most dumbed down commentary in broadcasting. Or maybe they think we might be shocked by Duncan declaring himself out without some prior warning.

To be honest, I've pretty much had enough of Dragon's Den as it is. Most of the pitches are mainly intended to get free publicity on TV. Winning a deal with a dragon is secondary. Hardly any inventions appear these days, almost everything is about repackaging old ideas or distributing someone else's product in the UK. Without Theo, and soon to be without Duncan, the show has lost its sense of humour. It's now a parody of itself, it's impossible to take seriously with that fake lift.

I'm also falling out of love with the format. They always used to ask what the money was for and why the pitchers had not tried conventional finance first. They always asked about trading results and forecasts. They always checked out if patents had been registered, where relevant and seriously discussed how easily competitors could muscle in. They may still ask these questions but we don't see it very often; instead we see largely irrelevant woffling about designs and brand images.

Er, it's not really an investable business, is it?

That actually looks like chocolate wrapped in paper. That's because it is Deborah. She doesn't miss a trick does she.

Like her hair, Kelly prefers Curly Wurly. She's out.

If forecasts are always wrong, Grumpy Old Woman, what worth are they?

Anyone can say next year they will be millionaires.

Who the hell would mount a sing into plasterboard?
It's not just the fixing, the plasterboard itself would give way.

Forecasts are always wrong but at least doing one makes you sit down to do the numbers to consider all of your costs and potential revenue.

The product was shown to be not safe enough by Peter so how can Deborah Rottweiler still want to invest.

That was nice of Deborah. Don't think I've ever seen them coming down like that with their offers.
