Is Piers strapped for cash or something? He just never invests.

If only I owned the rights to the word 'so' I'd be a millionaire just from this pitch.

Amazing how Evan Davis is the skinniest man alive yet still finds suits that look too tight for him.

You'd still have to pay delivery costs and need it to be delivered quickly before the food properly goes off.
I've had loads of stuff from them in the past, all perfectly good stuff.

Sounds like he needs the investment to do em, so if he doesn't get it, his Boots contract is scuppered.
The Boots deal was an initial order of £40,000 he said.

His units are sold at 54.99 to the retailer, so that is only 740 units by my reckoning.
That is a trial order, nothing more.
And unless he reads the small print they would probably be on a "sale or return" basis in favour of Boots.

Why did the clothing woman not just write down the margin - that way they would not reveal it on TV, and still keep it a business secret.

Oh how that got on my nipples!

You do not start sentences with the word "so"! Ever! (Unless it's a counterpoint question to what has just been said, "So what do you want me to do about that?"

I lay out something in the first part, SO this is the outcome.

It makes no sense just saying "So, ...." as any kind of answer.

Then they started every sentence with it!

Me too, it really irks me.
Like the word 'problem' which seems to have gone into disuse nowadays.
Everything is a 'challenge'; just see how many times it's used especially by politicians.
I problem anyone to stop using it.

So what are we discussing here?
That word, which is so annoying, is the least of my everyday worries concerning grammar and speech as 'like' to me is the biggest gripe I have withkid and young parents today.

Discovered who the "parents" were of the girl in the last pitch were, as mentioned by Kelly, it's Paul Young, so I assume he's chucked in a few quid.

Didn't like the last product. Found it quite sexist, but there are those people with enough money to pay for it.

Does this show have the longest and dullest opening credits and trailer of any reality show?

Oh don't get me started. It used to be the best theme tune on TV:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hn6nGDnUNEQ

The first 30 seconds was all they used and then they went straight to Evan. Then they messed with it and it's never been the same since. A bit like Dragons Den really. I've just switched over. Used to never miss an episode.
