What does everyone think - it may be a little controversial but I don't think it's been done before and I'd like to see it. It would be upsetting but because the actors involved are very good I think if written well it good be done very well and sensitively and make for good drama.

I think Kirsty should flip under the pressure of being a new mum and lash out at her baby, accidentally killing it. The fall out would be amazing.

It isn't something i'd like to watch, personally.

I think it could well happen. She is a bit volatile at times.

That's a very heavy storyline that could be done well in the right hands and with the right characters.

I don't think it would work with Kirsty and Tyrone. It would come off as extremely sensationalist because the actors aren't good enough. Kirsty is ok in certain scenes, but the lad playing Tyrone cannot portray emotion to save his life.

It wouldn't be easy viewing by any means but it would be a compelling story.

I always thought they were both quite good but now you say it Tyrone might be a bit weaker than Kirsty acting ability wise. It would definately need to be written and acted extremely well to pull it off.

Definitely. It would need to be on the level of the acting during the Ashley and Laurel cot death story in Emmerdale (before the ridiculous swapped baby revelation) and I don't think either are strong enough. Not just acting but character-wise too.

It would be a gritty and dramatic SL and if its done well i think it could work.

I have to disagree with you I think the lady who plays Kirsty is actually quite excellent as her bunny boiler..character

Perhaps as a compromise Kirsty's behaviour could get to the point where Tyrone fears for the safety of his baby and is therefore forced to face up to reality and speak out in order to get help for his family.

Well in all honesty I don't think it is going to end with them living happily ever after....

Yes, Natalie (Kirsty) has been great in this SL, and i also think Tyrone a good actor. So i think both these actors would be able to handle this type of SL.

I would like Tyrone to be happy and to not lose his baby in any way. Don't care about her she is a nasty cow.

I think the only that could happen is if she dies or maybe if she's runs off again. If he spoke up about the abuse and was believed the baby might be taken off him at least for a while because it was exposed to domestic abuse.

She's good. I'm just not sure the character is a strong enough one to have such a huge story.

IMO (I know many disagree) the storyline as it stands isn't really working without heightening it further and making it more catastrophic.

The actor playing Tyrone, well I've never rated him and I still don't.

Doctors are doing a SL where Daniel got caught getting aggressive with his son Joe.... I dont think it would need to go beyond that, then Kirsty will then claim that Tyrone is the violent abuser and Tyrone will try and rely on Tina to back his story up but its too late no one likes or believes Tina now as she pushed over Kirsty in the pub. Then Deidre comes along and backs up Kirstys claim that Tyrone is the abuser as she saw what happened in the garden that time.

Add to that how nasty Tyrone has treated Chesney etc and Kirsty is going to win her way for few weeks, untill she is outed .. but by doing what or who ?

The actor who plays Tyrone is one of those actors who would be happy to stay in the show for life..

you know the bad press EastEnders baby swap story got because of the sensitivity of the story well this story would be 100 times worse they would never do this story .

The backlash over the babyswap story came about because it was unlikely to the point of being offensive - as far as I know, there is no recorded instance of a mother whose baby has fallen victim to cot death trying to swap it for another one and hoping that nobody notices. Sadly, the idea that a woman who is violent to her partner could lash out at her baby too isn't such a stretch.

I personally would not like to see the baby killied off in this way, but the producers would probably get a reasonably easy time from viewers if they did it while it was still 'the baby' and hadn't assumed it's own identity like Amy or the other kids in the street. A bit too dark for an early evening soap though (if it were to be tackled effectively) - as someone has already said, highlighting the fact that the baby could be at risk and ensuring the tragedy was prevented would probably be a more suitable storyline.

Yes, also it wouldnt be controversial. I think this is how CS are going to end this SL.
I really wanted Tyrone to be happy after everything thats happened to him. I hate what Kirsty doing to Tyrone but i also think she a great interesting character. I would like her to stay on after this SL, but it just wouldnt work unless she got help and we see her changing ( i wouldnt keep her and Tyrone together)
