Whatever else has happened how could someone attacking a 9-month pregnant woman EVER be condoned? Rita was right.
Rita gave Tina some good advice, harassing a pregnant woman is not going to do her any favours, yet Tina ignored it.

Kirsty might be horrible but the baby has done nothing wrong. Also Tina needs to learn how to control her temper, it was one thing shouting at Kirsty, but she went too far. I wouldn't blame Tyrone if he never spoke to her again.
Tina has always been awful though which is why I am rooting for Kirsty in their scenes. How twisted is that - I'm rooting for the one knocking her partner about! I'm sure that's not the show's intention and they will go out of their way to make Kirsty unlikable in future episodes to justify Tina but I still won't care because I don't like Tina.

I can understand Rita's reaction. Everytime she tries to help Tina and give her good advice about Kirsty, Tina just ignores her.
That being said, I'm sure Rita will come around soon, she loves Tina like a daughter.

Maybe it was the writers' intention, to show that bad things can happen to bad people as well, and that we can sympathise with them. Though they've never bothered with tracy.

Maybe it's just me, but tina has never been likeable. There's always been a nasty streak in her.
