A bold statement to make but after 30 years at the top is the Queen of Pop finished?

It seems like she sadly is in a permanent decline now.

She's just filled the Yankee Stadium in NYC for 2 nights in a row, filled stadiums all across Europe and is poised to gross one of the highest tours in history, plus she has just had a number one album in most major markets. Although she's not trailblazed by her standards I wouldn't exactly say she's finished

I really don't see her in e.g. 6 years, to make another World Tour and I don't see her like Cindy Lauper to make more Jazz or Lounge stuff and sing in little venues (would be interesting). Maybe after the Tour she will be only making films.

The new album has some really good songs ''Turn Up The Radio' 'Falling Free' 'Superstar' 'Love Spent' and 'Masterpiece but it just hasn't sold very well...

If your meaning chart wise - then yes. UNLESS she starts doing some actual promotion on TV and Radio's like other 'artists'. However the radio ageism is blocking her success at the moment because every artist needs radio play of some sort.

Madonna is NEVER done! I mean this is her 30th year, she has sold out stadiums and broken records on her tour, her album (while it is her lowest selling ever....gutting but that is what happens with zero ww promo!) has also set new records for her too being number one in many countries and sold around 1.5million copies globally! going platinum and multi-platinum even in select areas in Europe, South America and gold in most countries also...quite a feat tbh.

Singles wise...well Luvin could have gotten higher but due to the freebie/give away with pre-orders of MDNA and late pysical releases they made limited - no impact worldwide...but she has achieved 3 number 1s on the Billboard Dance Chart and a top 10 with Luvin (due to Superbowl and despite the freebie giveaway with pre-orders hindering it for two days...i think it was two days the deal was on for anyway)

But with promo we all know what a force she can be...and with her status, she has everything set in stone it is just a question on where her motives are next up however...but she has always said as long as she has something to say she will make music forever....but i hope with more focus and time etc she can pull it out the bag for promo wise

I'm not a fan of hers but she could never be 'finished', she's an icon.

I doubt she will ever finish. She will be 85 and still trying to release stuff.

She'll never be finished, nor should she as long as she's happy. But she does need to reign it in.

I don't want to see her in her knickers and flashing her boobs. She did all that in the 90's, so it's done. Now I want to see her tone it down, slow it and make her material more 3D.

She has tracks like Masterpiece or Falling Free yet releases Turn up the Radio? I actually loved Girl Gone Wild, but when it is up with such weak dance tracks, even that is cheapened. It's all down to quality control on that album. Some tracks just should not be there.

I'd just like her to release an album with her "Masterpieces'" and her "Turn up the Radio's " mixed with her Girls Gone Wild. So we could have real soulful singles (not just album tracks) mixed with the fun side.

Until Madonna wants to be finished, she won't be finished. She could stop releasing singles and just tour and they would still be sell out every time. She's an icon to so many.

well she couldn't sell out her last tour, nor even fill venues when they literally gave out free tickets, so what gives you the idea she could do it in the future?

downsize venues considerably?
