How long until ben returns (EE)
Do you think ben will return one day like a big story line a few years down the line and phil is in trouble and ben just turns up looking all big and hard like grant or something like that.

Ben should return when Steve (phil) decides to leaves EE. They could still keep Joshua as Ben, he made the character interesting and was a great actor.

Hopefully soon. The other yougsters can't seem to step up to the plate. It was a ridiculous decision to get rid of Ben in the first place. He had the most connectios and scope for good storylines.

That said, I wouldn't mind if he returned one day. But I wouldn't want him to return as some pale imitation of the Mitchell brothers. It would fail IMO. I'd like to see a older, more decent, more mature and mentally healthy/strong Ben return to the Square. A man who is at ease with his sexuality now and his troubled childhood. A man who has become a good man (unlike his father, Phil) and learnt from his mistakes despite his stint in prison and a man ready to redeem himself for his murder of Heather, because remember that was the theme of Ben's character - he didn't want to become like his father. So if we ever see Ben again, I think that is what should be clear from the offset, that Ben has rehabilitated himself somewhat instead of saying that Ben has become this monstrous, psycho hardman like his father and uncle. |

I find it hard to imagine Ben looking all big and tough as an adult to be honest. He'll always be a weak, nerdy-looking guy to me. I'm not saying kids like him don't change as they grow older, but Ben seems like a kid who wouldn't drastically change in that way and become a formidable hardman. It would feel extremely contrived if they tried to magically transform Ben into some beast of a hardman like Grant.

Wouldnt like to see him back for a long time, maybe in 10 years and he comes back with a partner, the partner can be a real tough man, but Ben is the 'brains', having Ben be the brawn cheapens him and just doesnt feel right at all...he should get others to do the slappin' dahn, not do it himself

I think Ben will return when Phil quits or retires from EE, so could be years unless Steve quits before (Hope he doesn't!)
However I think Louise will be back on our screens soon |
