CS: How did Tina not get sacked tonight...
She verbally and physically abused a pregnant customer in public.
She didn't get told to go home, she didn't get a verbal/written warning or get sacked. Nothing, instead she carried on working and even had the audacity to watch Kirsty giving birth afterwards. Stella is a rubbish landlady, onlooking like a customer, Liz and Becky would have thrown Tina out the door and on to the cobbles. |

Kirsty is a vile nasty peice of work. She knows what buttons to press with tina to set her off. Stella probably should have give her a warning but this is corrie. that doesn`t seem to happen in any soap.

Tina is too dumb to realise this even after being warned by Rita earlier in the day and just retaliates anyway.

I too was amazed she never got the bullet, if that wasn't an instant dismissal (& a Police assault charge) then nothing is.
Utterly ridiculous. As if a mouthy barmaid with an attitude problem would be irreplaceable!!! |

Tina has always had a short fuse. With everything that has happened with tyrone and now tommy. Everytime she sees kirsty with that smirk on her face she wants to knock her lights out. Its not always that easy to turn the other cheek has rita put it. Tina has to choose her battles though. All she has done now is turn them all against her and feel sorry for kirsty which is no doubt what kirsty wanted. she probably even planned it to make tina look bad. the truth will come out though about kirsty.
They should have had a more sympathetic character involved in this storyline. |

Hmm and this the girl that we're supposed to be on side with? Someone who you've made sound no better than Kirsty.

Just because tina has a short fuse doesn`t mean she is anything like kirsty. Kirsty is a nasty little control freak who beats her boyfriend for no reason. tina would never do that.

Haven't seen this ep yet, but surely Stella must've took Tina into the back of The Rovers to calm her down
![]() ????Before telling her that she too, also once brought on another woman's labour during a scuffle ??

It's also the second time she has assaluted a customer whilst working, she poured a pint over the doctors head. Kirsty could easily sue the Rovers, Stella should have sacked her or at least suspended her to stop that happening, Stella would at least be in a better position if it does.
Tina is little more than a thug, who is never in the wrong. she may care about Tyrone, but this campaign of hers is equally, if not more, about her trying to get Kirsty. The 'I'm only doing it because I care about Tyrone' angle of this it is wearing thin now. Let's face it, she doesn't seem to care what stress she puts Tyrone, his businesss, and his baby, under. As long as she proves Kirsty wrong it's all calloteral damage to Tina. She needs to grow up. |

I dislike the way this character is written. It's unbelievable. dickronson is right. Quote:

Do the writers seriously think that Tina is wonderful and all the viewers love her?

I think Tricia Armstrong may have had her baby Brad (the father was Terry Duckworth, making Brad Tommy's half brother) in the back of the rovers in 1997. Could be wrong though.
